Inspired by the loveliness and undertone splendour of Hermès.
It's not a silk scarf... unless they made it

I think this looks much better.
This is as close as I can get it to look the way it does in person.
Otherwise, what's the point of sharing what I make anyway?

Thank you for looking!

The words you've spoken to this deviant overcomes the tender moment of a sleeping baby with their warm milk container in their hands. I am very pleased that for your first critique, you have expressed ^snowmask as one of your highly influenced artists upon this site. Keep pushing further, deviant. You too will receive the support she has been rewarded.

Pretty seems to be the first thing that comes to mind when I lay eyes on this work of art. Although, I really would have liked to have seen this image in person, it looks good enough on my screen. But I digress, let the critiquing commence.

The color usage give the image a subtle dream-like quality to it. It's as if you stare at the image long enough you could maybe see the woman's fabric moving in the breeze. A good use of blues are used and give the image a feeling of weightless.

Detail used in the female subject is beautiful as usual. The female subject's complexion and body curves are realistically depicted on her canvas. You can even see the creases made by her shoulder blade and neck bones in her skin. The fabric and butterfly look well done and you can almost picture yourself touching the scarf and hat and watching the butterfly flutter before you.

Lighting is used well and almost makes the subject's skin glisten and makes the hat and scarf illuminate in the light.

Now before I close, and I don't want to sound nit-picky, but at first glance some of the paint dots in the background did feel a bit overbearing but then I realized that's what gave the image its style. All in all, a beautiful piece.

I love this one. The colors are beautiful, and normally I wouldn't like such a big butterfly, but it fits this piece so very well. Lovely work dear. I really like the delicate feel of the entire piece as well. Great work

YouΒ΄re really talented. I like your style. I cannot draw from my imagination. I know it takes a lot of time and you have to practice a lot but then man is better and better and the results are beautiful - as yours

I draw a LOT from reference, as to this day I still have very poor understanding of lighting. The concepts are all from imagination, of course, but the elements require a lot of reference-studying.

I've never been to Asia. I know the Orient only from books, TV programmes and films. I am loving the Asian cinema ( Vacant houses, Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress, Hwal, Three Seasons... )
I sometimes think that in other life I was an inhabitant of these regions...

Very much I want it. No matter how, I am feeling anxious that this dream will remain unfulfilled. At the moment I have the problems associated with the work.

Oh my, this is absolutely stunning. The concept is brilliant! I adore the colors you've chosen; the blues and the pinkish/purples look really marvelous together. Contrast that with the orange and you've got yourself a great piece.

Again, it's really neat to see how much you've improved! I like how the new butterfly looks.
