Description Writers: Mike Montesano, Audu Paden, Lauren Rose, Ira Singerman, Ted Zizik (Monster High)

Date: September 29, 2015

Synopsis: “The ghouls head to Boo York.”

Monster High is most known for their toys and webisodes, and here's proof the movies can be good too. The ghouls follow Cleo to Boo York when she gets invited to an important gathering for her family. While there, a new friend of theirs named Catty tries to write her own music. There's also the threat of a comet coming towards Earth while everyone tries to make sure things go off without a hitch. It's interesting how this movie takes a bunch of subplots, and makes all of them come together effortlessly in less than 90 minutes. That's pretty impressive. It takes on some pretty cool themes like high society impression and finding inspiration to do what you love, which really taps into the human experience. The New York-esque vibe of the movie is handled quite well as the plot feels as big as the city as, and the humor is quite witty. With the resolution taken into account, I say we have one good movie on our hands.

Here is the cast for the movie.

Laura Bailey - Headless Headmistress Bloodgood, Elle Eedee, Lagoona Blue

Cam Clarke - Heath Burns, Mr. Rotter, Crazy Deady

I totally agree with you. Monster High is totally one of the best musicals ever made. All the songs are fun to rock out to, the scenes when the song is queued wasn't rushed, they just went through it smoothly, and everything was just so amazing and colorful and inspiring. People say that the Monster High series is quite "girly". I think that's because people just ain't looking at it the right way. The girl part is that it's a fashion doll franchise. The part for guys is that it's theme is monsters. The inspiring part of the movies was all the parts with Catty trying to find her inspiration. Since I'm an artist myself, I can say from my HEART that she knows what she's doing when it comes to writing amazing songs. Plus, she's HOT! Don't ya think?

Karen Strassman voiced Noir? I totally could've sworn it was Missi Hale.
