Synopsis : " We are introduced to Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls."

I really wish this was picked up for a series. Before coming up with MLP, Lauren Faust came up with "Milky Way and the Galaxy Girls". I guess she wanted something like a magical girl anime, but couldn't get it; so, she came up with MLP. Anyway, I really like this short. The animation is nice to look at, the music is upbeat, and the girls' dancing is pretty cool. What stands out about the short is that there's no dialogue. Despite that, it's still easy to figure out the girls' personalities. Milky Way, the leader, is a happy, go lucky girl, considering she likes skating. Venus is a girl about style and elegance, considering she's wearing a tutu. Jupiter is a calm and collected girl as exhibited by the 1970s clothes she's wearing. Pluto is a hard core girl, as exhibited by the facts that she wears black clothing and plays a skull guitar. Mars might seem a bit like Milky Way, but she's different enough. She's a girl who's a bit ditzy, but still happy and playful. Do those personalities sound familiar? It's not what I call funny, but it's still entertaining. I'd say it's a good short.
