And now it's Daisy's turn!! Love this girl!! She my favorite of the princesses!
Alright, so I kinda wants to have a little theme running with having two characters from the kingdom the princess rules over, being alongside the princess. But with Daisy, there is a small problem. The kingdom Daisy rules over, Sarasaland, hasn't been seen since Super Mario land in 1989, other than having been mentioned from time to another and... non of the residents that are non-enermies has actually been shown.
I don't really know much of Sarasaland other than, from what I can understand, it's a desert. So I've tried to use my muscle memory and the power of the internet to see if there already were some existing characters, that was not enermies. It took me some time, but then I then remembered that in the new Super Mario Odyssey there's these really cool mexican-looking characters, who lives in the desert! To be honest, I really like them! They look so awesome and colorful!
But anyway, I decded to throw them in! So just to let you all know, these guys are not are not redidents of Sarasaland, but for the kingdom called the Sand Kingdom. From what I can see, they're right now only know as Tostarenans, for now at least, but I don't know. That's at least what the Mario wikipedia says, but that may just be something they're calling them until their species name has been revealed.

I know, it's called a tomboy with a girly streak. In Japan those kinds of characters are required. I would accuse Japanese folk of being sexist, but then you'd probably accuse me of being prejudice, or racist!

I have a theory that every time you see a desert or dirt area in Mario, it actually IS Sarasaland, and that Wario and Waluigi are from there as well.

That's a very interesting theory, and one that would make sense, since deserts are pretty big.

Well, let's start by going over the first part of the theory. As far as I know, deserts were never used until "Super Mario Land" when Daisy first shows up. "Sarasa" sounds an awful lot like "Sahara", and Daisy's castle basically looks like a classic Arabic palace. Now every time you see an area that deals with Wario or Waluigi in a sports, racing or party game, it's either dirt or sand themed, or sometimes a barren canyon or mine.
The game "Super Mario Land 2" brought in Wario and "Super Mario Land 3" was renamed "Wario Land" so clearly he comes from that same series and ever since there has been a continuous supply of Wario games that never play anything like a Mario game and usually deal with some desert areas, caves and ancient ruins, and if memory serves me right, a Sphinx?
Now Wario, Waluigi, and Daisy happen to all be doppelgangers of Mario, Luigi, and Peach because when "Super Mario Land" first came out it was supposed to be a totally different game with nothing classically Mario in it whatsoever. That's why a lot of enemies now usually associated with sand levels were first introduced in that game.
Add to that the fact that both Daisy and Wario wear yellow to match the color of sand in the Mario games and I see a kind of overall separation of worlds/characters as if there are actually 2 mirroring kingdoms being presented...
...check that "THREE Kingdoms": "Mushroom Kingdom", "Sarasaland", and the "Koopa Kingdom".

she is not in Odyssey, and the Sand Kingdom has no princess.

Well, I haven't gotten my hands on the game just yet, so please don't spoil anything.
But I've never said that she was in Odyssey or that she was the princess of the Sand Kingdom. Like I said in the description, I decided to place the Mexican-looking characters besides Daisy, since I couldn't find any residents of Sarasaland.
