The Cutie Mark Crusaders finally did it! I was quite taken with the recent episode, "Crusaders of the Lost Mark", and wanted to draw this scene immediately after watching it. I must say it rekindled my interest in the show. I'll admit that some liquid pride was shed while I watched this episode.Thanks for viewing!

This one took a while. A fair bit of time was wasted in fighting with PaintTool SAI, which gave memory issues after I started on the background due to the large size canvas I used. I've learned that SAI can only use up to 4GB of memory regardless of how much RAM your machine has. The 64 bit version may solve this, but it seems to still be in Beta.

Naww, thanks so much, Ky! I'm really happy with how the wings came out, so I'm glad you like them. My goal was to use the wings to "tie" the drawing together. I tried mixing soft shading for highlight and cell shading for shadows to try make it more dramatic. Although I do still have a lot to learn about light sources when it comes to shading.

Your work is spectacular even tho I kinda hated the episode. Like, seriously? The Cutie Marks of the Cutie Mark Crusaders are basically a Cutie Mark Crusader Cutie Mark. I was kinda disapointed because I expected REAL cutie marks. I loved your work, specially Scootaloo wings :3

I was a bit disappointed in the design of cutie marks from the episode. I think more focus should have be placed on each of the CMC's individuality. That's part of the reason I chose to leave them blank in this picture.
