Ref: For the horse, I used a drawing book. I pointed to three horses on a page and said to Puffy the dog...pick one. She slapped her paw down on a totally different one. So, I used that one. The neck is a bit long, my boo boo. O well. For background ref, I was very much inspired by Gerrits Green... and the reason is that I wanted a lot of greens...in fact, lots of light greens. And a quick reminder from a tutorial before I found this landscape reference was that I needed a horizon line and perspective and such. I did that Hard to find variety in Oregon landscapes, a lot of them are along the ocean and there is no ocean at SWF. The brush for the bushes is actually NOT a plant brush. It's called Wacko and is built in to PSE.
