Right, this be a piece that is up for sale at the Anime/Manga Art Exhibition in Richmond, London, next weekend."Specially created for this exhibition, this is part of a series of three illustrations exploring beauty. Two beings from different worlds meet. They are polar opposites, the very antithesis of each other. But can love conquer all? Rendered in pen and ink."

The original inks are for sale at £200, already framed, A3 landscape (the illustration itself is a little smaller than A3, there's a 3.5cm white border around). It took me AAAAAGES to ink *cries* and I had to be really careful as I had to leave all whites as white, without making any mistakes *cries again*

How was the Exhibition?

It went very well, particularly on the sunday. I sold a fair amount of prints and comics but none of the punters were willing to shell out for anyone's originals XD I think that the crowd we got were a little too young/casual, we need to bring more mature art-lovers to the next exhibition ^_^

Great work Sonia! Lovely composition, and it seems like your artwork has developed a bit since I last saw it (in a good way!). The inking is my favorite thing about this, you can really see how much effort and detail has gone into it, theres constantly something to look at and no line seems out of place. Lovely stuff..I bet it looks lush on A3 *_*

Thank you - it looks very detailed in the flesh (in the paper?), it was hard to get the sharpness right on the screen, but I tried my best. I tried to put a lot of detail into it so that there's more and more to see. Thank you again!

Ooooooh *_* I love these kinds of pieces, with such a simple yet complex theme and style; it must've taken a lot of care to ink it without making any mistakes! But the final result is lovely - I agree, the guy is so stealable XD But the girl's kimono even moreso! I hope it sells ^^
