I like it! What strikes me the most are the colours! Everything is clear and there is nothing lost in the same values.

There is just a few things that could have been done to make it a little bit better I think:

-The pose is not exactly in the center of gravity. The arm on the left would have a lot of pressure in that position. I would put it more to the left and more to the back. It would also remove the tangent between the arm and the hip (tangent is bad, bad!). There is also a tangent with the knee on the right and the ribbon.

-The right part of the bottom goes too far to the right. The hips would be too large that way. Just changing the curve a bit would correct this. Also, the crotch could be less vertical (more diagonal) to be a little bit less flat.

-The shape of the leg on the right is a little bit off. You could just retract the right line on the lower part to make a concave curve and then thin the leg. Like you did with the left leg.

-This one is not important but, you could try to mess up randomly the clouds with the smudge tool. Sometimes it makes magic!

The hair are really pretty and you also did the shoulders right, which is not easy considering this pose!

No problem! And you can also tell it if you don't agree with something. As for the smudge tool, in fact, I am not much a fan too, but I did some good things with it and it seems that a lot of people are using it for clouds.

I totally get what you mean with the Gravity.
To portray gravity is quite a hard task to do!
Will try to improve that >.<

I totally agree with the left arm, should have moved it a bit further.
I would have looked like it was actually supporting the body more that way.

Ill keep the smudge tool in mind xD never been a big fan of it. lol.

Glad you did like it! also thank you for the critique! much appreciated!

Looks really good... and how the heck do you draw the ocean?!

Thank you! Well that's a tough one... I'm still learning how to draw the Ocean well myself   (I really do struggle with it sometimes)

There are many ways to achieve drawing water! Start by filling in the whole area of ocean with a midtone of blue that you like. After that, try to find a brush that you like and mess with the Opacity of it. I don't remember the exact percent but I think i had something along the lines of 10-15%. From there you can pick a darker color and using the same brush and opacity work on the Darker parts. Generally the further water gets, the darker it gets, so as you can see in my picture, the farther it gets to the horizon line, the darker it gets. As you are working on the darkest part, try to give the appearance of waves by not making it one solid gradient shadow, but only darkening certain areas.

After working with the darker portion, grab your mid tone blue and lighten it up a bit. From here you do the same thing you did with the shadows but in the opposite direction, coming towards the beach. Since you are now highlighting, keep in mind that the mid tone will be your new shadow.

Don't be afraid to use a really really light blue. Even if it looks mostly white that is fine. When a wave hits the beach you see white normally because of the Sea foam.

So to paint shallow water on the shore, you can use a light yellow or green and do the same above methods but starting from the sand going out to the ocean.

Also choosing a light blue or white and going back over the darker parts closer to the horizon line can add more detail to the waves all the way back.

And I guess that's a really basic tutorial xD Sorry if its bad, never really given a tutorial before.
Also not really a pro at water, still learning it myself.

Hope it helps!

Oh my, a lot more sexiness than I wanted but Pamela definitely looks very cute here. Only downside about this piece I can think of is her foot is cut off a little, but that's just a nitpick thing as I like complete full body shots.
Thanks for letting me commission this lovely piece from you and you certainly did justice in showing off Pamela's cuteness, enough so that I may commission another drawing of her from you.

Was it too much Sexiness?!

But I am glad you think she looks cute, tried to achieve that! Ahh yes the foot, i thought that if the frame was any wider it would look funky,
but I will keep that in mind!

Really glad you commissioned me! Also appreciate it!
Glad to hear that you like this, and I did her justice! She is quite cute! That is good to hear!!

Well I only wanted cute with a hint of sexy, I just didn't expect this much sexiness. It was too much because now I'm tempted to commission a nude version as a result, but it's not a bad thing, just unexpected.
And you achieved it well, a little too well even. Again, the whole foot cut off a bit is just a nitpick thing, guess artists really like their aspect ratios.
I am thinking of another Atelier character to commission from you, but I may also commission more Pamela Ibis from you.

Oh my! Well I can always do that if interested, I could also send it exclusively to you, or if you want it posted. The alternate version that is.

Well I probably should of asked to clarify how sexy you originally wanted but glad to know you still enjoyed it even though it was slightly different then expected.
Well then, Ill keep that in mind about cutting off parts of feet next time

Commissioner of this piece here, I asked for the Mana Khemia version of Pamela because I wanted the cutest version of Pamela to be in a bikini just being cute, though it was the artist's choice to make her look this sexy, which I did not expect.
