VeggieTales, one of my favorite childhood home video series. In fact, it is one of the best children/family/Christian shows ever created.I have always loved this show and have never hated it. Of course, around 2008 and 9 and so, I tried to convince myself that I was too old to watch the newer episodes. Didn’t work, but I know for truth that you are NEVER too old for VeggieTales.
I like both of the Movies as well and hope to see more in the future. Thank you Phil Vischer, Mike Nawrocki, BigIdea and GOD for creating this amazing franchise.
The characters on here are Bob the Tomato, Larry the Cucumber, Junior (Jr.) Asparagus, Dad and Mom Asparagus, Mr. Nezzer, Jimmy and Jerry Gourd, Pa Grape, Mr. Lunt, Petunia Rhubarb, Laura Carrot, the French Peas, and Qwerty the Computer. Sadly, I couldn’t add in the other important characters

I don't think I'll ever get to old for Veggie Tales. What is it about this show that that just makes us want to watch it over and over again. I still have a crush on Larry the cucumber BTW...haha

I have to admit, I also love VeggieTales as well. When I was young, I would go to the library and ask my parents to rent the VHS tapes of VeggieTales all the time when they had it. The old episodes were the best and I did remember having my mom rent a music CD of VeggieTales at the same library I got the videos. Another thing that I'll admit, I know this is gonna sound strange but here I go...I used to have a crush on Bob the Tomato during the time of watching the episodes. Well, I still hold minor affections to Bob, but I'm not afraid to confess that. As of now, I still watch VeggieTales both old and new on YouTube. And you do make a great point, we are NEVER too old for VeggieTales.

That is an amazing story. And i don't think having crushs on fictional characters (who are real) is strange. I come across comments on here and other sites stating that they had or have cartoon crushs.

Bob is starting to become underrated (like Robin, Luigi, and other characters trapped in shadows) I love Larry, but i feel sad for our tomato friend. I mean, he only had one line and scene (or seconds) in the ''Pirates Who Don't Do Anything'' movie.

I see what you mean. Larry is awesome, but I also feel like Bob should at least be recognized more. Let's hope for Big Idea Entertainment that they'll make something to give Bob more of the spotlight.

''Star Bob'' (or Star Tamado, not a Sar Wars spoof) would be epic. If a movie based totally on the VeggieTales show (where they are trying to save the show and flashbacks of the show's origins are shown) is made, Bob would fit as the lead character trying to save the show while learning a moral lession from God (either trusting or something)

Since DreamWorks Animation owns Classic Media, which owns BigIdea, i hope something great can come out of it. Although DreamWorks needs distribution for their films (they had Paramount from 2006-2012, and FOX will take over in 2013-2000... 18 i believe)

Oh boy, I just made a quick research on Big Idea Entertainment. And now, it seems to me that if there ever was a third VeggieTales movie on the works, then this would mean that DreamWorks Animation is going to have involvement as one of the studios making it.

Wow super. DreamWorks would probably do the job they did with Aardman for the films they made with them. Hopfully the majority of the DW head (including Katzenberg himself) have learned from their blow with Aardman (minor details in production of ''Curse of the Ware-Rabbit'' and that creative-control on ''Flushed Away'')
So if God wills it, another VeggieTales movie will be made
