I cannot begin to even explain to you how I did the set up for this shot, it took me about an hour and was VERY frustrating.
I had to make the water absolutely freezing cold so it wouldn’t steam up the camera viewfinder. So I had to sit in a a b s o l u t e l y freezing cold bath for half an hour and let the camera roll. Not only that….

I had a very real chance of getting electrocuted with the lighting i used and the close proximity to the water I had to make them in order for them to light up anything (Oh the things I do for films…)

Ontop of that I had No gaffer tape (My favourite Gaffer tape has VANISHED :’-[ ) to stick the tripod to the platform with so i had to use sellotape. *shudder*

So also had a chance of dropping my expensive, lovely camera in the water if the sellotape didnt hold.

Also, wasn’t getting much light on my face so I had to tape a reflector panel to the ceiling to bounce any remaining (little) light onto my face. If that fell it would have knocked the camera and tripod & possibly lights and there would have been no film and…no Sophie D-:

BUT LUCKILY, this didn’t happen and I got about half an hours worth of shots.

Lets hope it looks good in edit!
