"You could never have a Frost Giant sitting on the throne of Asgard"Spent a few hours on this one, and I had a decent picture to start from too ^.^
By the way. Ive noticed that there are lots of depictions of how a Jotuns markings look. I went by a screenshot reference that pretty much makes whatever markings there are on his face look like wrinkles.

Terrific! I'm impressed with the attention to detail! I especially love that you put a frost mark on the glass in front of Loki's mouth, like his breath is ice cold. A great subtle touch.
I also did a photomanip to make him look like a Frost Giant, but I didn't have the patience to look at a movie still first like you did. He looks more like Nightcrawler in mine.

I think he only goes jotun when he's in contact with something or someone jotun. When he touched the casket of ancient winters or when his arm was grabbed by that frost giant soldier in jotunheim for example.
