If you get any closer to the models, your camera will go through them. Ruining the picture

if you use noclip and the camera weapon, hold right click and move the mouse you can change the field of view which would let you get closer albeit at the expense of not being able to see whats beside you as well like you're wearing goggles or some shit

Yeah, that kind of thing is a big no to a lot of poster makers in both Gmod and SFM.

When it comes to poster making, the maker not only wants to show off the character. But also the stage that said character is being posed on. If you do what you said to do, zoom in till it looks like a Fish Eye. It takes away from the poster and the character that you're using. Regardless of what people say, I talk from experience.
