Here's to a new year! Cheers! Something I started near/after Christmas and finished last night.A lot of these guys required quite a bit of guess work since most of their reference photos show them as slightly detailed silhouettes. Since one or two of these fellows didn't have any sort of reference images, I had to pull their designs out of my ass.
I also based their coloring on preexisting versions of their characters (ie Unicron Triology, G1, official concepts, etc).

Why does everyone say that Alpha Trion is a Prime? Did Primus create him for the sole purpose of withstanding the tests of time and recording everything in all of Cybertronian history or something? Hang on now that I actually say that out loud that actually makes quite a bit of sense lol

I LOVE your desing and interpretation of the thirteen, to be honest I hated the COP desing for Megatronus, to me it didn't do him justice.
Now we are all aware of the Aligned Thirteen identity, but in my own personal stories I gave my own twist, making the first technorganic Transformer. (I know is way farfetched but hey, its fandom)
Anyway, you gained yourself a new follower ^^.

Prima, Megatronus Prime, Alpha Trion, Liege Maximo, Micronous Prime, Onyx Prime, Solus Prime, Alchemist Prime, Nexus Prime, Quintus Prime, Amalgamous Prime, Vector Prime, and Optimus Prime are the Thirteen Primes. Optimus Prime went into the Well of Allsparks to be reincarnated as Orion Pax.

Should definately check out the covernant friend as the fallen is portrayed more as a anti-hero than a villian, plus even though he accidentaly killed solus, she professed her love to him as they were lovers during their time together.

This was drawn way before the book was even announced as being in the works to the public. The original Fallen was a dark, corrupted villain in the Dream Wave comics.
I checked out the new lore and Ken Christianson's art that he did for the book. Pretty interesting reboot on the Dynasty storyline.

Actually, while Thirteen went unnamed, he was actually REINCARNATED as Optimus.

Logos was only in fanon written by some guy from Japan. Takara acknowledged it, but this was way before they established the Aligned continuity. The 13th actually appears to be Orion/Optimus, based on the new lore that they've written. I think it's a bit silly and messes with the continuity-singularities, but oh well...

Orion/Optimus as the 13th Prime is only for the Prime Universe (It's connected to the Aligned).
IDW indicates that the 13th Prime has a title, The Arisen, and he has his own name (not revealed yet) and he is a separateΒ entity.
Meaning that--thank goodness--the 13th Prime in all the multiverse is his own Prime and holds no connection towards Orion/Optimus, not even in reincarnation.
The whole Aligned version of the 13th Prime was pretty much Bullsh#t ! It was not creative at all.
But then again, IDW is trying to create a perfect Multiuniverse of the Tranformers and it's mythology--trying to have a world-building series that could be in the same league as DC Comics and Marvel.

I agree with you that the 13th Prime should not be Optimus Prime. I always thought Orion Pax was choosen by the Matrix of Leadership because he deserved it, not because he was The Arisen reborn.
Although, IDW Optimus could still be the 13th but dosen't know it yet. Hope he isn't.
Sometimes I wonder if the IDW mythology is actually true. It's possible the Guiding Hand and the Knights of Cybertron is nothing but legends. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Β Β Β Β

I'm pretty sure that "Bubbles" is really Amalgamous Prime, sine his appearance is somewhat similar to how Makeshift is described in Transformers: Exiles. Onyx Prime is the name of the Beast-Archetype Cybertronians, with "Winged Centaur Guy" is called Quintus Prime. Finally, the guy in shadows is simply known as "The Thirteenth". He wasn't given a specific name, possibly as a sign his name was lost, but he helped ensure balance among the Thirteen.

Not really sure why he looked like that, but that's just who I think its supposed to be. Quintus did actually create the Quintessons. Maybe I'm wrong, and he's really Onyx Prime.

Very nice piece of art of the 13 Primes. Maybe the "Bubble Guy" there is Alchemist Prime. I dig this Vector Prime more than the one from the Cybertron cartoon though.
