Description "Outside it's cold and things look grim but inside we have our hearts burning with hope and desire and perhaps that is all we need to sit out this snowstorm of tragedy"
                                   ~ Akarui

Glendower and Akarui rp <3

Also, Akarui is using her ability " Warm Heart " so I decided to draw it as a glow since warming someone up really wouldn't have any cool way of showing it but I wanted you all to know what was going on so ya. Artistic liscense for ya.

Time | The Snow in norht region having just started, many unaware cats where caught in the cold and came back frostbitten, sick or inguerd - if they came back at all. Glendower had her paws full, especially after a fox attack had just placed iorek very injured within her den on top of everyone else. Akarui, mean while, was settling in with her apprentice Aya, and hanging out more with Dolorosa even if the two, at this point in time, where not dating.

 Place | North Region Camp

Summary | Akarui decides to stop doing what she loves more than everything for the regions well being. Dropping her rank as crafter she comes in to the healers den with a stubborn determination to make the healers let ehr stay and help. She knows very little of healing but refuses to just stand by as her loved ones suffer and so decides she will use her fire ability to help with all those who came in cold and frostbitten. Of course, to do this, she will need Glendowers permission. She speaks with Glendower, and what starts on somewhat rocky footing with Glen's hesitation for the fire ability turns into a total giggle fest as the two friends realize even in this cold weather they both have hearts burning with desire, passion and hope.

----------

Snow was still falling, but at least it was more gentle now as it drifted on to the lands of North region. The winds had died down but all within the camp knew that they could come back at any time. No one could be prepared for this, because what were you suppose to expect or predict when snowstorms and blizzards were occurring in what is usually the burning middle of summer?

Fluffing out her auburn pelt, lavender eyes tracing across the camp a certain little crafter couldn't help but take one glance towards the crafting area. Normally, she'd already be there, working and humming to herself... But she had a dream last night and though she couldn't remember the dream, she had awoken with the knowledge that she had now about what she could do during this weather. Something in her gut said it was more than just a good idea, something she had to take on personally, so not something she could ignore just to make pretty things.

After all, for whatever reason, it seemed north region was seriously lacking in fire element cats.

Stretching, giving in to what she already knew she would do, Akarui entered the snowy landscape, crossing the camp to get to the healers den. While she knew the place all to well, like a second home to her, this time her lavender eyes seemed to take it in as something new altogether. She'd have to talk to the healers, of course, but she was pretty confident they'd agree. They needed someone of fire specialty to help out. Cats were coming in cold, wet and frostbitten- and Akarui could change all of that. She was no healer, and would never bother to try, but for right now they could use her skills and so she would offer them.

"Hello? it's Akarui."

----------

Glendower trembled in her den, looking at the herbs in the back with a wistful look in her lake blue eyes. The cold weather came so quick, out of the blue, it was crazy! One day it was warm, beautiful, perfect sunny summer, and the next day Glendower wakes up and it's snowing! Glendower had to blow all of the snow out of her den when she woke up with her pelt speckled with snowflakes, and she tried her best to get rid of the slush that was around the entrance.

Glenda didn't even have enough time to grow her winter coat, so with her thin and short fur. She was taken aback and unprepared in general, as was everyone else. She couldn't stand cold, or snow, or winter in general-- and this was way too soon for her. "Oh spirits, Andromeda, Gardenia, what is going on?" she thought miserably to the good spirits and her dead mother, confused with the weather and other things. She sighed, shuddering. She was simplyfreezing.

Her herbs were freezing too, some herbs that were located near the entrance of her den shriveled up from the cold-- many of her flowering herbs were dead as well. As much as she'd like to curl up in a ball and lay on top of her herb stock to keep them warm and fresh, many cats were coming in to her because of frostbite, shock, colds, sniffles, frozen, wet, you name it. She was cold too! But everyone expects the Healer to need no help, so she didn't complain or ask for it-- even though she had her own...problems.

Glenda looked over her shoulder with a weak and tired smile. "Akarui, hello!" Glendower chimed, her breath fogging in her den. Despite the lack of wind and snow, it was still cold in her den. "What do you need?" Glendower asked Akarui, turning around to face her. She hoped Akarui wasn't sick or anything, and she had her leg to look after as well. Glendower would certainly have even more ton her list.

----------

Akarui brightened when she saw that it was Glen who approached from the back of the den, and if the auburn she cat was to be all honest, her friend looked a little troubled. Akarui could only guess to the troubles the leare would face with this cold. That was what had brought Akarui here now, as she gave her pelt a shake and headed on it.

Of course, the first thing her lavander eyes searched for was the accessory Akarui had crafted for Iorek to give. Not that she'd say anything, but of course she wished for the best friend to whom she owed her life t have a love life, happiness, and although Iorek wasnt her type , or gender, she respected the tom and so could trust him to be good to the healer should Glen return his feelings.

"Actually, I'm here to see what YOU need. I hope it's not presumptious, since I know better than anyone how great a job you do.... But I was thinking my powers could come in handy here till it warms up again. You know, keep this place warm to help with the spread of sickness or maybe if someone gets frost bite or somehting... You know, whatever you need. So long as you need heat for something." She said, not adding that she was not about to take no for an answer. She owed it to the healers, and especially to Glen. Akarui never planned to forget all the things that Glen had done for her, giving this second chance to live a life once more.

----------

Glendower listened to Akarui explain her business and idea, and doubts were beginning to creep into the back of her mind as her worried blue eyes glanced from Akarui's lavender ones to her Fire ability stone-- Glenda wasn't comfortable with fire. In fact, next to the dark, snakes, tight spaces, and a patient's death, fire was one of the things she feared. It's not that she didn't trust Akarui or anything! Akarui was one of her closest friends, and Glendower could say that she was her best. Glenda felt guilty for her fear, because she knew that Akarui just wanted to help out. And even though Glendower didn't quite want to admit it, she could use the help, even though she was used to helping others instead. "Akarui uses her fire powers all the time, right? She welds, she's a Crafter...she's knows what she's doing. She never comes in with burn wounds or anything, so she must be good."Glendower thought to herself, trying to assure herself that the younger female's fire powers were safe.

Glendower thought about her offer for a moment, and she sighed in defeat. Her den was wet from melted snow anyways, she doubted that anything could catch on fire. In fact, mostly everything was wet or snow covered, so a wild-fire would be impossible, Glendower thought. "Okay Akarui, I suppose you could stay to help." she muttered with a little smile. She really couldn't say no to Akarui, and Glenda knew she meant well.

"Just try to stay out of the way. Cats have been coming in because of this crazy weather, and I've been keeping my eye on Olive, just in case she gets more sick, and I've been thinking about all sorts of things." Glendower added in a more firm voice, even though her eyes were pleading and it was hard for her to look serious while she was still shivering from the cold. "Anyways Akarui, while there's no other cats in here, show me what you can do."

----------

Akarui's expression hadn't faltered from her hopeful, warm smile once while Glen considered her offer. After all, she HAD to do this, she needed to do it. She didn't give up crafting easily so this was no easy gesture on her part but a necessary one for her... And she could only assume for Glen as well.

However, there was a moment where she could have sworn she saw Glen's expression falter, but it was so brief r perhaps so unrecognizable to Akarui that her lavender eyes could neither guess to the thought or feelings that caused it nor did she try. She stead still, calm and collected, until Glen gave her answer because that was all she could do. That was all she wanted to do, but she also wanted it to be the right answer.

She smiled from ear to ear when Glen spoke, and in turn shuffled a little closer to the healer. She wasn't about to test whether or not there had been hesitance in Glen's mind when she agreed by whipping out flaming balls of fiery and scaring the mouse tails off everyone.

No.

She concentrated, her ability stone glowing, and let the familiar heat of the "Warm Heart" move take over her. it was like when you eat or drink come thing warm, and she loved that sensation when the heat suddenly warmed you up but it seemed to come from inside of you rather than from around her. it was pleasant, and if she tried like she was, usually one or two cats around her could enjoy the same feeling.

----------

Glendower watched Akarui closely with widening blue eyes, blue eyes wide with both nervousness and curiosity. As Akarui scooted closer to her, she closed one eye and braced herself as she saw the red glow of Akarui's ability stone and her eyes. She expected a wall of fire to surround the two, and in the back of her mind she was scared that Akarui would loose control of her spell and engulf the den with flames-- but a moment passed and nothing happened. Glendower softened up a bit and opened both her eyes, observing Akarui as she concentrated on this spell she was using.

At first, she thought the heat she felt was just simply body heat from Akarui and her, being close to eachother, but the heating sensation began to grow even warmer, too warm to simply be body heat. She glanced around a bit, confused-- no flames! What was this spell Akarui was using? Glendower felt a warming sensation, and her uncertain expression changed into an astounded expression. "I-is that warmth coming from you, Akarui?" she asked the brown crafter with a growing smile, amazed. Such a safe spell, as well! "Gosh, everybody's powers are better than mine!" Glenda thought to herself briefly and bitterly, until she focused on the warmth again. The fawn pointed Healer got closer to Akarui, and she felt even warmer.

Without waiting for an answer, Glendower got closer to Akarui to inspect the warmth. "Wow, it is coming from you! That's the best spell ever Akarui!" Glendower cheered as her suspicions were confirmed, and she snuggled up so close to Akarui because of the warmth she provided that she was almost practically on top of her. She laid down on the floor of the den beside Akarui, tucking her freezing paws underneath herself and she leaned up against her friend, completely ignoring any person space that Akarui wanted. She was smiling her bright, and now literally, warm smile once more, purring. She looked at Akarui, eyes twinkling. "Feel free to stay in my den for as long as you want! You don't even have to leave! Or get up, for that matter! You're hired!"

----------

Akarui had said nothing as Glendowers voice had spoken once, ro possibly it was twice. She wanted to concentrate, but it didn't mean that her ears hadn't flicked as she recognized her friend's words as slowly coming to love the power that Akarui would gladly offer her. She, of course, had wanted her best friends approval more than any other especially since if she was being honest she trusted Glen to be the best of the healers. She wasn't sure it if was an official thing or not, but she reckoned that Glen took a leadership role over the healers and the workings that went on within the den here. Not in a bad way, quite the opposite, because her knowledge and ability to lead people with all the best intentions and the warmest of hearts. If she wasn't a healer, and Iorek who's aspects were similar in that way was not leader, she may have voted Glen for the spot... Although she couldn't see the tawny coloured she cat ever leaving her current place of work, just like how Akarui would never leave crafting.

Glen had pushed herself against Akarui by now, and Akarui could see her friend settling in beneath her and was glad that it seemed to be working. It was certainly getting easier to warm Glen the longer this went on, since her friend's energy was becoming more known to her. However, her own energy was dwindling, so after a few more long moments of comfort in the silence of warmth, she let her power fade slowly. She didn't move from were she was though, as both her own body as well as Glen's both still lingered in the warmth of the power.

"I am glad to here that Glen, since I didn't really want to leave. I figured with so many cats coming in from the cold your job healing them might be easier with me around... but I will not be having anything to do with healing or herby stuff... since it's been moons and I can't even remember what you commonly use on me. But I'm sure I can sit here and be like your own personal heater... It'll be nice to be of use in this time of need and goodness knows I have always been looking for a way to repay you for everything. Akarui meowed, knowing she was talking a little more than she maybe should but she did always tend to do huge monologues when was speaking about herself and attempting to make it sound better than what she had once thought of herself.

----------

Glendower opened her contentedly closed eyes as Akarui's heat had calmed down a bit-- at first she thought something was wrong, but it was probably a tough spell to keep up. Akarui was still warm anyways, and Glendower wasn't moving! Glendower listened to Akarui intently, and she really liked the idea of having her own personal heater...not that Akarui's heat spell was all that Akarui meant to Glenda, of course! But that would be undoubtedly very nice! Perhaps she could spend some nights in the her den as well? Glenda liked that idea as well. "Yes, your heat spell will be very useful to both me and the cold cats who come in-- but most importantly, me." Glendower purred, half-joking. But on the other hand, she wasn't joking, and one part of her didn't want to share her brown-furred heater! Of course, she would. "And there's no need to 'repay me' for anything, Akarui! It's my job to take care of others, and even if it wasn't my job, I'd happily take care of you." Glenda purred, waving her tail behind her.

Glendower wiggled out from under Akarui despite the warmth-- she wanted her to be comfortable as well, and she patted the ground beside her with her paw. "Here, come sit! Lets relax while there's no patients." Glendower laughed sheepishly. She really hated to think like that, but she was a little worn out from all of her patients, and Iorek's recent fox accident left her shook up as well. "And when I said you didn't have to leave...er, well, if you want to, you can spend some nights in the Healer's den. And you can sleep in my nest, too! It'll be much warmer that way, to have someone to sleep beside." she suggested, with a little smile. There was Iorek, who was staying in her den to recover-- but very shockingly, Glenda found herself...too shy to sleep beside him.

----------

Akarui listened and even as her friend spoke Akarui knew she couldn't ever believe her friend with the amount of sincerity Glen spoke with as oppose to how Akarui felt. healers helped those in the region, those doing their jobs. She had nearly gotten herself killed on a suicide mission were in her first moons back she hadn't even be sure she was glad she had lived.

That was more than just being a healer. That was dedication, energy, perseverance when not everyone agreed with what was being done to save her and not everyone even trusted her.... But Glen had. Glen had trusted her to be safe and try and live even when Akarui hadn't trusted herself. That was bigger than any light powered cat just coming along and closing her wounds or anything. No, what Glen had done for her was more than Akarui could let go of, even now that the two were friends. It made it easier though, to get along so well with her unlike before when there was just shame, embarrassment and admiration for the tawny coloured she cat.

Nestling herself down next to Glen though, the auburn she cat could picture worse things than just hanging around the healers den and even smiled brightly when Glen mentioned having her nest be open as well. Akarui was quick to reply "I'd like that, were ever you want me to stay is a-ok with me. It could be a fun twist of fate in this very terrible turn of events... Since it's not often you and I get to spend this much time." She said, smiling. She could almost picture it, the two of them hanging out all day helping others. Akarui would like that, since even as a kit she had liked helping others. She just preferred helping them out through crafting rather than healing... Or sometimes she imagined that if she had become a warrior or a hunter she would have done some grand gestures to save she cats and toms and kits in distress right at that moment. Run in and chase the bad guy...

At least in her mind she wasn't so much the bad one in her own heart anymore.

Speaking of... Akarui took a quick glance around and after only seeing a sleeping Iorek, probably due to injuries Akarui had only heard about second hand- something about a fox fight. "Hey Glen, you know that newcomer Dolorosa? Have you met her?"

----------

"Akarui has a point, we will be spending a lot more time together! That sound really fun! I'm starting to like this idea more and more." Glendower thought to herself happily after Akarui had mentioned that it wasn't often they spent this much time together. "Akarui trusts me so much-- so I'm not even going to worry about Akarui using her fire spells in my den. She has my permission, now, and I trust her too!"

Not only would she have her 'own personal heater' (yes, that thought was still jammed into her mind), but she could have some help with frozen and frostbitten patients. They were just the worst to heal without any special powers-- Glendower wasn't very warm anyways, and without any heating spells, all she could do for a patient was lie them down, lay next to them, and have them lay on their paws. It was a cruddy feeling, being cold and not being able to do anything about it. Akarui would help just about everyone in that case. And it was no problem that she wouldn't be helping out with all the herb-y stuff, really. Glendower spent over 10 moons dedicating her time to learning as much about herbs as she could after her mother died, so she totally had it covered. She just appreciated some female company of her best friend, not just Olive and Iorek. Not that she didn't like Iorek's company...O-or Olive!

She snapped out of her thoughts when Akarui spoke up and mentioned Dolorosa. Even though Glendower was in her den or out and about a lot of the time, she actually did know Dolorosa. Well, she knew of her. She assumed all the Northerners knew about the cat who had moved in from another region. Glenda didn't know the reason why, but it was always nice to meet new cats...even though she hadn't properly met her yet. "I know of her, but I haven't really met her yet. But I know who you're talking about-- she's a Hunter, right? With long fur, too, if I'm talking about the right girl. I think she's around my age. What about her?" Glendower asked her, turning her head to look at Akarui with curious lake blue eyes.

----------

Akarui smiled, shrugging while she decided what exactly to say. When it came to Dolorosa, Akarui had a lot to say certainly. The huntress was beautiful, warm hearted and more than anything forgiving. Turns out she was more forgiving of Akarui than the auburn she cat was of herself. Though she didn't say it, the bracelet that now dangled on her wrist was worn with the best of memories. A friendhsip bracelet. A confirmation that Dolorosa did in fact enjoy Akarui's company despite everything. If Dolorosa could move on and let go, so cuold Akarui. She could move past her own demons if the end result was getting friends like she had now. Dola and Glen were friends Akarui promised to never take lightly.

"While I was healing up earlier she came and kept me company once and a while, so I just thought I'd ask if you knew her because if you could I cuold pester you to tell me all that you know." She said, smiling. She wasn't sure if her crush was totally obvious, but either way she didn't really mind. She would never press or even look in to how Dolorosa felt about her since it didn't seem to matter. Akarui was content with everything how it was, since anything, any friends, were better than how alone she had been before. She always hated toms who pushed their feelings on she cats, especially when they knew better, so she didn't want to be that. She just wanted to get to feel this way without getting hurt, and for that friends was best and weirdly enough just enough for Akarui. Unlike her relationship with Drew, which had left her always craving more, she just felt easy and comfortable in the fluffy tawny coloured she cat's presence.

"But who knows, since she's a hunter we very well might get in her in here, though I hope not. I worry about those hunters and warriors... They must be mouse brained to leave camp in this weather... I kinda thought Iorek would forbid everyone leaving till teh weather settled a little bit to be honest."

----------

Glendower wished she could say she knew this Dolorosa girl, but no, she didn't. She couldn't help but wonder why Akarui wanted some information on the Huntress, but she didn't say anything about and kept listening to Akarui, smiling. If it was information about anyone else in the North Region, she could probably tell Akarui, but Dolorosa was one of those cats she didn't know. She did know that Dolorosa had thick...warm fur, that she was very envious of. Glenda was sure Dolorosa would be fine out hunting, but it was a possibility to get sick from the cold. That would really be a pain for her, two thick-furred and big cats in her den at the same time, along with Olive, her, and Akarui now-- Glendower wished as much as Akarui that Dolorosa would be safe! But, for different reasons.

"I think your little girlfriend will be alright." Glendower chuckled. "She has very thick fur, if I'm not mistaken. Actually, I think most of the Hunters in the Northern Region will be just fine. It's mouse-brained to hunt in this weather, yeah, but we have to eat, you know. I think it's pretty selfless of them, and it's also their job. They signed up for hunting, and they're going to hunt, despite the weather. I'm going to heal, despite the weather, even if it's mouse-brained to be around sick patients because of the possibility that I might catch their cold. We just have to hold up through the weather...as hard as that looks right about now." she laughed shakily as she explained her thoughts about the Hunters. When Glendower was a young Rookie, she was actually a Hunter Rookie instead of a Healer Rookie-- hunting was soooo boring, but it wasn't the hardest job in the world. She certainly couldn't be a Warrior. She could imagine it was tricky to find prey out in this weather, as they were hiding and such, but most of the Hunters had thick fur to endure the weather while they were searching.

She also spoke up again on the matter of Iorek's orders, having an explanation for why he might've done that. "What if the weather doesn't settle, though. He might as well send them out while this craziness is just beginning, because who knows if it'll get worse?" she pointed out, dreading the future weather. If it got even worse, she would never leave her den, or Akarui's warm side, or any warm cat's side for that matter. "I think he was just looking out for the future." Glendower suggestion, glancing at the sleeping Iorek.

----------

Akarui felt a little guilty st having said anything, especially against Iorek. She trusted him, respected him as leader but that didn't stop her form worrying. She always fretted about everything and with something like this weather she was even worse about it. However, she knew Glen was right, well except about Dolorosa being ehr girlfriend.

"Well, so long as everyone's as safe as they can be I suppose I'm happy, including Dolorosa who in fact is not my girl friend. I don't even know if she has someone, or would ever like me. It's not really a question you can bring up without making things worse than they are. Even if she returns feelings for me it could get awkward right? I mean, if she doesn't I'm alright with that, so I suppose it's better I just leave things as friends.... Even if I may like her in a little bit different of a way." She admitted, desperately glad she hadn't ranted to long because in talking about Dolorosa her words felt like vomit, uncontrollable and not nessesarly something she wanted to bring back up from her memories. If it was anyone besides Glen, she probably could have clamped a hold on herself but it was kind of bothersome having no one to talk to. It wasn't like it was something normally talked about, she cats finding she cats, and while no one was against it here having it be as uncommon as it is it was rare to find someone comfortable listening about it... But more than anyone else Akarui trusted Glen for that.

----------

Glendower blinked a bit, having forgotten for a moment that Akarui did actually like she-cats. And that she actually liked Dolorosa. Everything news-wise going on in the North Region seemed to be distracting Glenda, because she was pretty oblivious to that. "I was really just joking..." she thought to herself with a sheepish smile on her face as she listened to Akarui speak, nodding as she let Akarui finish talking. "...not that it's a problem that she likes her. Akarui needs to have more faith in herself!" Glendower thought determinedly after talking a brief moment to think to herself. "What do you mean you don't know if she would ever like you? You're a total catch, Akarui, and a sweetheart as well!" Glenda purred, trying to encourage Akarui. Glenda was never turned down however, so she didn't really understand or know how scary it could be for Akarui, but that didn't stop her from trying to push Akarui into confessing. "And I don't see what the big deal is about awkwardness. Awkwardness can be prevented, you know! If she accepts your feelings or not-- just don't let it get awkward. Refuse the air of tension, and push away uncomfortable feelings and thoughts with forced happiness and a smile, like I do!" the fawn pointed Healer said simply, like it was the easiest thing in the world to avoid sticky situations or the dreaded unpleasant feeling that comes with it. In reality, not even Glendower could avoid awkwardness, but she refused to acknowledge it when it happened.

"But, if you really want to leave things as friends, for now, that's fine too. I think you should let her know though, just a little bit, so she doesn't get too close with someone else. She's pretty." Glendower finished bluntly, grinning. That was her best advice for Akarui that she could think of at the moment. Healing was her forte. Perhaps love wasn't.

----------

Akarui smiled, nodding. Of course, as both a friend and one of the wisest she cats Akarui knew Glen was probably right again in this circumstance... Somehow though knowing the right thing and having the courage to do it where totally different things. She was a worrier, it was something that came naturally to her. . . She wasn't really sure if she had it in her, but she liked to think she did. She knew in her heart Glendower was right, of course, because there was only really so long she could be friends. If Dolorosa found someone else Akarui knew the friendship would brake, and it would be terrible if that happened without Dolla knowing why. Akarui did't want to be that kind of cat. She'd have to tell her- but when?

She pawed at the bracelet Dolla had given her for a moment, then looked up to Glen.

"But enough about me, I haven't even remembered to ask how Iorek is! I heard abot the fox incident, but if he's getting better I can bet both of you are liking the time together." She emowed, impishly playful grin on her maw. Though Glen had never said anything in particular about the leader, Iorek had said many good things about Glendower to Akarui one day and since then the auburn she cat had kept her lavander eyes looking out for a potential love life for her best friend. She was pretty sure the sparks had been flying, and in all honesty she wouldn't have been surprised. As far as toms went, Iorek was the one whom Akarui trusted and respected the most even if she couldn't speak to his character as far as dating went since she had never really gotten that tug of the heart looking at any tom she knew.

----------

Glendower purred, glad that Akarui would accept her advice. She wished the best for Akarui, and hoped that Dolorosa would treat her well, whatever her response to Akarui's affections was. She continued purring with satisfaction, until Akarui brought up Iorek, and she stopped and instantly blushed. Not a shy, stammering blush though-- that wasn't really Glendower. She proudly blushed and smiled brightly at Akarui, flicking the tip of her tail. "Yeah, he's getting better! He's strong, you know." she said simply, even though what she felt was certainly not simple at all! "And yes, I certainly enjoy our time together. I almost don't want him to get better." she chuckled, evn though what she said sounded kind of...dark. "It's nice that he gets some time off from all the hard tasks of being a Leader to actually relax and heal up-- with me!" Glendower giggled, shuffling her paws with a never fading smile.

She would tell Akarui about what she had been feeling, as it occurred to her that she really never had! "You can't tell him or anyone- not that I don't trust you or anything! - but I like him. Like, like him, like him." Glendower said sincerely, looking at Akarui in the eyes with seriousness brimming in her usual bouncy lake blue eyes. "Do you think he likes me too? He saved me, but I saved him too-- I'm afraid it's just grattitude towards me and not...something more." Glendower admitted to her, looking down at the ground of her den worriedly.

----------

"I know he does. I can't tell you how I know but trust me that I say it with absolute conviction. " She meowed, her tone warm hearted but a little but cheeky as well of course. This was Glendower she was talking to, and Akarui always found herself in good company with the healer and more than anything this was Iorek. Iorek who had seemed liked the most silly of all swooning rabbits when he had spoken of Glendower and requested the gift made by Akarui. Of course, Akarui could see Glen wasn't wearing it yet, so obviously the doofus had yet to speak to such things as his feelings but he was slow like that, but steady. Akarui had no doubt that these two would be sharing their feelings sooner or later and for that she was happy.

"But you know if you are brave enough you could always take the first step. This is Iorek we are talking about. He makes decisions as a leader that are decisive and smart but when it comes to his social life I'm not sure he has the same qualities. Well, he's probably still smart but I have a feeling he's the sort of cat that spends way to long thinking about it rather than talking about it."

----------

Hearing Akarui's words brought hope to her, and her lake blue eyes twinkled with excitement. "Ah, so he does like me! He said he felt different around me, but he never said that! He really needs to spit things out more clearly-- like me." she thought to herself with a grin, amused by Iorek's lack of straightforward communication. He never was too good with words, but to Glendower, actions spoke louder. And his kind, chivalrous actions, plus Akarui's assurance, made his feelings crystal clear now. She'd have to talk with him, and soon! She felt the same way as she assumed he felt. Thinking about it made her heart pound and race away.

At Akarui's suggestion to her about taking the first step, Glenda playfully rolled her eyes. "You have no idea! I always have to do everything first, it seems. I'll probably have to do it again." Glendower said with a little fond smile and a sigh, always confused with Iorek's occasional shyness towards her. It was adorable though, to her. She lowered her voice and looked around, getting a little closer to Akarui. "You know, I already kissed him. Of course, I had to do that." She admitted, giggling a little at the end of her words. She wasn't the youngest girl, and Iorek wasn't the youngest either, but she was giddy like a youngster.

----------

Akarui's jaw would have literally hit the word if it wasn't babbling looking for words to Glendowers admittance. A kiss! And you were still unsure? A kiss is a kiss is a kiss. Trust me: no one gets a kiss in if it isn't wanted. Well gee I don't even see why you needed to come to me at all! Looks like things are certainly heading in the love direction for you my friend! I'll have to stick around then so I can keep up to date on the gossip, forget warming others!" She joked, laughing at the very idea of it all. She had, since Iorek had started speaking to her, suspected the two would grow close but of course she had been such a downer in her earlier days of rejuvenation that she had also surely thought that if she thought it then it would certainly not happen just to spite her.

But this was great.

----------

Glendower giggled girlishly at Akarui's words and hid her face slightly with her paw, embarrassed but amused. She never really ever had all this girl talk. It was so fun! A little overwhelming to Glendower was all of these emotions and such, but it was fun anyways! But it seemed like Akarui was taking it way too seriously! It was just a kiss...right? "Woah, woah there, Akarui! Patients are a priority, don't let my drama get in the way of your job." Glendower purred with amusement, even though there was a hidden seriousness within her voice that was almost completely covered. But yes, even in her pursuit of love, she still valued the sick ones that came to her.

She continued on, red-faced, trying to make the kiss seem a little less than a big deal. "It's not like it was a huge, personal, 'in his face' kiss or anything! It was a...cheek kiss, you know! I would kiss...w-well, anyone like that!" she exaggerated. In actuality, she would really only kiss those dear to her. That kind of proved her feelings for Iorek, right? She sure contradicted herself there.

----------

Akarui laughed alongside her friend, because as Glendower's faced reddened she could have said whatever she wanted about what type of kiss it was and what it meant and Akarui would have seen right through it. Glendower was in love, and it was truly a beautiful thing to get to see. She couldn't have wished for anything better for her best friend. In fact, Glendowers happiness was something Akarui had longed for since her life had been saved by the healer... So this was pretty much a dream come true that allowed the auburn she cat to grin from ear to ear.

"Uh huh, I'll bet you go around kissing everyone Glen." She meowed with a laugh, but then added "but of course I'll do my best by the paitents, while also loving on some good old fashioned drama. Man, it's needed in this endless snow. I bet it'll lift the spirits of everyone around to be reminded that life goes on and we can all still be happy. You're probably doing the whole clan a favour!"

----------

"I do not go around kissing everyone! You wish!" Glendower laughed playfully and a little uncontrollably, feeling the mad blush on her face, but she didn't mind it. Akarui was so funny. She was still chuckling even when Akarui was talking about the patients, a serious topic, but Glenda had the giggles now! Even though she was giggling, she did understand what Akarui was saying. Akarui definitely lifted her spirits a great deal, more than she knew, being so humorous and understanding, as well as cooperative and grateful. She just loved Akarui to death. And what she said, too-- she anticipated the future, somehow, the future with Iorek. Even in with the cold weather. Smiling, and stifling her giggles, she tried to be as serious as she could now.

"For one, I don't want the entire North Region to know about my feelings and what's going on between me and Iorek!" she chuckled, feeling embarrassed at the thought of everyone knowing. She paused to giggle again, but shook her head, trying to stop laughing. "But seriously! I want you to know that even if me and Iorek get really close...you know, mate close, or more, that still doesn't mean I'll ever forget about you, you know! You'll always be my greatest friend. You know, I'm so glad it's the law for a Healer to accept any patient from any Region. Because I might not of met you! And now look at you!" Glendower went on with a bright smile, half-laughing, but being serious as can be on the inside. She didn't really know where she was going with all that (she was prone to babbling) but she hoped Akarui knew.

----------

Akarui had been laughing her high horses off as they had been going back and forth about kissing, and as Glen spoke between bouts of laughter she would pucker her lips like a fish over and over again till she burst out laughing again. She couldn't imagine the last time she did this, laughed like this. It was as if there wasn't a care in the world, like when they were kits and apprentices just having a good ole time making a fool of themselves. It had been moons since she had laughed like this, but then again, it had been moons since she had a friend around to laugh with.

Of course her expression softened to a warm, glowing smile when Glendower became more serious and she nodded. She could understand because she felt the exact same way. She loved Glendower, and would forever. Not in the way she felt for Dolorosa, but in a way so different the two could never be comparable nor traded for one another. She was lucky enough to have both.

"And should I ever find a she cat to be all kissy with I promise Ill never let our friendship go either. You'll always be my bed friend Glendower, always. I don't think thats something I could change if I wanted to."

----------

Glendower chuckled, bumping her shoulder against Akarui's playfully. "You said it! You're stuck with me, Akarui. As both my best friend and my personal heater in this cold weather." she purred, almost forgetting about the cold with all the talk about Iorek and Akarui. Akarui didn't seem bothered, either. Their burning hearts kept them warm. And Glenda would be happy like this if these talks with Akarui continued. She look a moment to stop giggling and to look at Akarui, before giggling once more, and there was no stopping her this time.

Awwwwww this was so sweet! Talking about love lives whilst Io is sleeping heavily in the corner (probably before he has another nightmare). I can really see how close these two girls are as friends.

Ikr? Io never had a clue of what as going on ha ha ha ya Glen and Akarui have a really great relationship for being able to express deep commitment and caring for one another without it ever being romantic.

Just shows the power of friendship which is just as strong as love. It would've been funny if Io actually heard them and pretended he never lol
