EDIT: BUCK ME SIDEWAYS WITH TWILIGHT'S SCEPTER. I just realized I left a bit of mane uncolored, so that's fixed now. *facepalm* Kids, this is why you don't finish drawings after having a glass of wine.

The second of my Hogwarts AU drawings. This time we get Fluttershy, who is very confused at being sorted into the House known for bravery....
So a bit of an update. Next week I'll start studying for ALAT certification so things are going to slow down art-wise. I have no clue how long it'll take me to study for this thing but I won't be uploading much for the next few months. I will try to finish at least one drawing a month just so I can do a 2017 art summary for December.

I am glad that you sorted Fluttershy into Gryffindor and not into Hufflepuff. That would be obviously boring. However, I can also see Fluttershy as a Slytherin. We have seen her doing stuff the Slytherin way! Like when she pretended to be sick infront of Dashie so she could stay at home and not participate in the Tornado thing event and when she used the stare on the hens that made them cower in fear. I doubt a Gryffindor and, especially a Hufflepuff would do such things. Only a Slytherin would!

Thanks! I had actually briefly considered putting her in Slytherin but Gryffindor was my first instinct. I also wanted her and Dash to be in the same House and maybe have RD try to coach her to be more Gryffindor-like.

Wow! You consider Fluttershy a Slytherin,too? Well, that's a really interesting thought. Fluttershy can be scary sometimes!😱Remember also when she turned into a big jerk and made Rarity and Pinkie cry in Putting your hoof down. That was harsh!😢

Well being mean isn't exactly a Slytherin-only trait. James and Sirius were pretty awful bullies too, and Harry was treated badly by people of all Houses on several occasions. I still think of Fluttershy as mostly Gryffindor. Keep in mind that personal choice is also considered during Sorting and while in this AU Slytherin doesn't have quite the dark reputation as it does in the HP universe, I don't think Fluttershy would want to be sorted into a House that had such a nasty founder. But that's just me. Like I said in an earlier comic, you can pretty much make an argument for any character to be sorted into any House, and that's what makes it so much fun.

Thanks! The fun thing about the Hogwarts Houses is you can pretty much make up an explanation for any character being in any house. I've seen all kinds of different combos.
