I saw that you use Ben Nye theatre makeup, did you use it just with water, or with the liquid sealer? I used it for my most recent cosplay, but unfortunately my eyes do NOT do well with contacts and so my eyes would water randomly during the day, and the makeup would immediately drip off. Trying to kind a way to make it to where it won't do such.

You should always use Ben Nye with one of their products called Final Seal. That's pretty much the best for sealing theatre make-up, and some people use both Final Seal and Translucent Powder, for the best sealing results.
The best thing to use to get the make-up off is a product called Cold Creme -- it's basically a godsend for removing any make-up, really, and it moisturizes your skin while it's at it.
As a tip for your contacts, I'd suggest changing the solution you keep them in regularly, and try to see if you can find a solution for sensitive eyes. Of course, it might also just be the frequency that you wear them, and your eyes simply aren't used to them being in your eye.
If you keep having trouble with it, I'd suggest maybe carrying around some eye drops in a pocket or something of your cosplay or having someone holding onto it, and then putting a few drops in when your eyes get irritated. I used to have the same problem when wearing contacts, so this is all from experience.
I may not be the person you asked, but I hope to have been some help to you! Good luck with your cosplaying.

Thanks so much! Oh, and aside from my usual mascara, all the makeup I used was various Ben Nye stage makeup products (the blue/white, specifically, were two shades of their creme foundations). I was very happy with how durable it was throughout the day and it was all wonderfully inexpensive online. From one Midna to another, I would definitely recommend looking at their stuff. ^^
