A piece i did for The Coconut Grove Art Festival. I have some from last year's, but this year my schools doing a different system so were selling large($200) and small($100) canvas paintings instead of the HUMONGOUS paintings we did on watercolour papers last year($150). If I sell all the ones I made for this year, Ill make $350.
This is one of the smaller ones, and the last i made. This photo is horrendous, but it's all i have =_=; The story of this painting's birth: The dead line to turn in all the Coconut grove paintings had passed by two weeks, i had this extra canvas that i had a friend steal for me from the office when she went to get hers, i was feeling extremely backed up with...wanting-to-paintness(?). So i slapped some paint on a canvas for 15 minutes and got this.Add fingers,glue,and more paint, and voila; a 15 minute painting. Personally, it's my favorite of all the ones i did because i didn't really have to think about it, i just did it, and it made me happy.

(oh, and its called erika after a friend of mine. her twin was saying it looked like her, and i had to hold back from saying "doesn't that mean it looks like you too?"XD)
