Well, nostrils, nasal region, nose, whatever you want to call it. I never thought it was that important until I saw the Legendary 2014 Godzilla. Hiigh-placed close together nostrils both make sense for an semiaquatic or aquatic creature, and they've been part of Godzilla's facial features for decades. You take them away, and the big G turns into more of a generic reptilian monster-creature.
