Dude, let him be. Its a nice rendition of Rodan. He doesn't have to just draw Toho Rodan with extra spikes. He's entitled to design Rodan however he likes to. Its called a REDESIGN for a reason.Β

That's true, but the idea of an interpretation is to have your own take upon the creature. That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be exactly like the original. If the artist wants to blow the design out of proportion then they are entitled to do so. o3o

Congratulations, I guess? That's the thing though; Emmerich made his own interpretation of Godzilla because he personally didnt understand the original Godzilla's design, so he made his own. Truth is 1998 was meant to be called Iguanarian but changed the name to Godzilla because it would attract more people. It did, but not in the good way, lol~

Because you're dumb as hell to imply that people have to do things exactly according to your idea of the world. If he wants to make a Rodan that doesn't resemble the actual Rodan, he's allowed to do it. You can think that it doesn't fit or whatever all you want, but it does not mean that he has to change anything just because you say so.
