Fantastic! I love the way the bird's legs and the giant eye hint at gigantic creatures just outside the page, but leave them to the imagination. They make me think of the great roc and the whale island in the traditional Arabian Nights tale of Sinbad the Sailor, although I don't know if you had that particular legend in mind. I like the flying books, and the way the clouds interrupt the frame of the picture. (This would make a great design for a bookmark, too!)
