Description Hello, I'm back with another character-
"Incident in a Rose Garden" is actually one of my favorite poems, so when I saw the slot for this, I just couldn't resist :3

----------

Name: Morana Desrosiers
Nicknames: Mo, Mora
Fairy Tale Character: Death from "Incident in a Rose Garden"
Age: About 17
Gender: Female (mostly)
Species: She's...mostly human
Height: 6' 5"
Weight: 200 lbs
Birthday: February 14th :3
Personality:
Morana has a bit of a "split-personality" (reason for such is explained in her bio).
- She can switch from being a more gentle, quiet, and melancholic girl to a loud, semi-cruel prankster in a heartbeat. There is a slight pattern in when she is more likely to be one or the other though; she tends to be more quiet and gentle in the daytime (most commonly in the morning hours) and tends to be more loud and "prankster-ish" towards the nighttime.
- The only things that seem to carry over between the split-personalities are Morana's artistic nature and slightly serious air. Even when in a more pranksterous mood, she takes every task she's given way too seriously. Morana happens to be quite creative and artsy, she spends her free time doodling on random sheets of paper or in her journal to calm herself down when she gets overwhelmed.

Background/Biography:
Mo was normal once. She grew up a lovely little town with a lovely little family. She had a very caring stay-at-home mom and a gentle father who worked at a graveyard (kinda spooky, but Mo never seemed to care). She was rather quiet for a girl her age, and didn't make many friends due to that quietness, but that never seemed to bother her parents much.

When she reached about 15 years old, that's when things got a little weird. Mo began to talk to herself, or well, appeared to be talking to herself. She began to hang out by a dead oak tree in the graveyard, just talking to herself and doodling pictures in her journal. At first, her parents didn't think about it too much, but it slowly began to become a little concerning. Her parents couldn't see it, but Mo was actually talking to a spirit. Every time she came to the graveyard and went near that old oak tree, a little spirit would be resting there and chat with her. The spirit told her stories about all kinds of things, from magical dragons with their hordes of gold to odd twists on classic bedtime stories, and Morana would make little drawings inspired by the stories they told. She began to feel more comfortable in the graveyard than anywhere else. People weren't too fond of her, as she always looked strange and "half-dead" with her pale, willowy body. The spirit didn't seem to mind though, they just kept telling their stories.

Eventually, by the end of the year, her family finally stepped in. Afraid for both their own life and the life of their child, they forbade her from going to the graveyard ever again. Mo grew more rebellious in response, passive-agressiveness in every word she said to them from then on. She tried to go back, and would often get very close to reaching that old oak tree, but she would always be caught just before she made it.

She was just shy of seventeen when an old friend came to visit. It was the same spirit from before, but they looked different. They looked almost...angry. In a shaking voice, they demanded to know why she never came back. Mo tried to explain, but every time she tried to say something, the spirit would attack her. They chucked vases and cups at her, they slashed with dark dirt-covered claws, they lashed at her with quick slaps. Mo could only cry for help. But no one seemed to hear her, or maybe they just didn't care. All during the attack, the spirit wept about being so alone and tired. By the time the spirit's anger finally boiled down, Morana really was half-dead, covered in scars and bruises. She was simply left there, alone with her thoughts and pain until something tapped at her shoulder. It was another spirit, this with a different air to them then the other spirit. This one just stared at her with a bright white grin. As it circled her, it dropped little pink things all over the ground...rose petals? It continuously got closer, until it was face-to-face with her. Morana began to cry, which... The spirit kinda tilted it's head, then laughed. It got really close again, then said My my, afraid of reapers are we?

Mo squeaked in terror, aggravating every wound on her face. If that was a reaper, then she must have been close to death, if not dead already. The reaper laughed and told her that she would be fine, some cuts and bruises won't kill. The reaper was simply bored and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. That wasn't very calming, but at least she wasn't dead. The reaper poked at the space where her right eye would be and their smile turned into a grimace. Yikes, that looks pretty bad. You seem like a lot of fun, so let me do something about that. Something soft curled around her face, another rose, and attached itself to her skin. She was still too hurt to stand, so she simply sat there throughout the night while the reaper went on and on about all kinds of things about how boring it was to harvest souls all day.

In the morning, Mo was well enough to walk. Her parents were absolutely livid, asking who did this to her. She shied away from their questions, thinking they wouldn't believe her. Eventually, they just dropped the issue and went on with their lives. The reaper stuck around, claiming that no one was dying nearby, so they had some down time. Mo was kinda done with spirits and dead stuff for now, so she tried her best to ignore the reaper following her around.

A few weeks passed and the reaper was still following her around. By now, Mo knew the whole "no one was dying right now" was bs. She asked the reaper why they were still here, and they just said she was fun. The next morning she couldn't find the reaper anywhere. Mo was relieved, thinking that the reaper finally left. Sadly, her relief was short-lived when a little sing-song voice, her voice...but different, echoed from her mouth. you know, I really like you. If it's no big issue, do you think I could stay here a while? At first, Mo wanted nothing to do with Reaper. She didn't want any spirit hitchhiking around in her body. However, she finally caved in after hours of the reaper's begging and bargaining. When she finally agreed, Reaper was ecstatic. They promised that they would behave and do whatever Mo asked. Yeah, right.

At first, it was kind of tough to deal with a reaper hitchhiking in her body. She'd get constant headaches, weird roses would randomly start growing wherever she walked, sometimes her voice would get all echo-y and hollow, like she was speaking through some kind of rickety old intercom and, worst of all, she could barely walk now due to her legs blurring and fading constantly. Reaper only made things worse by trying to get control every once in a while, mostly when really excited about something or if they were mad at her. On the bright side, she got magic! She could talk to that spirit, and some other ghosts like them, but that was a mere fraction of her potential (at least, that's what reaper told her). Of course, she didn't really know how to use said magic, and Reaper was too busy making people mad at Mo with their stupid pranks to be of any help. If she wasnt so kind, she would have kicked the reaper out sooner.

Morana began traveling around, prompted by a sudden desire to see new stuff brought forth by Reaper, when she heard about Ever After High. She asked around about it, curious. Perhaps there would be others like her, or others with a close enough level of oddness to sympathize with her. She sent in applications after a good month of thought. Reaper didn't mind the idea of a magic school and thought it would actually be kinda fun (boy where they surprised when they learned what school actually was).

Orientation: "The vessel of a death spirit doesn't have time for romance" complete lies, she's definitely bi and wants to mingle
Magic Type:
She specializes in necromancy, but she has difficulty controlling the stronger aspects of her powers as of yet (she can do minor stuff right now-)
She also has slight levitation, which she uses to get around easier (its kind of hard for her to walk with fading legs?)
Body Type:
- Tall and Lanky
- Some parts of her body (legs, arms, neck/upper chest area) are somewhat transparent
- Her feet are usually rather blurry and almost completely faded away
- She has odd scars on her cheeks and arms
Clothing: Hoodies and Victorian-style skirts. Also, lots of dusty and semi-pale pinks- Always wears roses in her hair.
Voice: AwkwardMarina - www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6DXhi… (but slightly distorted, disembodied and echo-y, kinda like its coming from an old intercom somewhere)
Sports/Clubs: Art Club

Class List:
Class 1: Necromancy
Class 2: Levitation and Flight
Class 3: Art and Design
Class 4: Sigil and Symbol Illustrating

Extra/Other Facts:
- Really nervous around dogs
- Really wants a garden
- Usually speaks in the third-person (because of the frickin death spirit hanging out in her body, she is technically more than one person, so-)
- Loves dancing
- Surprisingly good at sewing
- Really likes cute and creepy combinations
- Always smells sickly-sweet, like wilting roses
- Her eyes glow when angry or embarrassed
- Her tears are highly corrosive (like leaves-second-degree-burns-on-whatever-it-touches corrosive)
- Doodles roses on a lot of her assignments
- I wouldn't suggest asking why she's so obsessed with roses...
- Gets odd, random headaches
- If you see her having odd conversations with herself, she is most likely having another argument with Reaper
