This charcoal drawing was done back in 2002. I don't often look back on old drawings, and I don't really think about this one, since it simply hangs on our living room wall. I dont remember, exactly, because this was done so long ago, but I think the drawing is something like 18" x 24" (does that sound pretty standard?).

Anyhow, this drawing was constructed using a motorbike as a reference. Contours are added and layered on top of each other to frame the central shape. I wish I had a copy of the original picture of the bike.

To date, this is one of my favorite drawings, and it probably will be one of my favorites for a very long time.
