Now that is one painting that is full of energy!
The bright colours help to pull this out, and the very striking and dramatic poses makes it seem very old and deffinately mythical!
Glad to hear everyone wins in the end (despite the human, but no loss there )

How ironic--I just had barbeque tonight. Won't say what kind.... Good for the winged critters! Nice job on the stipes and color tones, and great work on the gryph's eye and beak! Say, what mediums did you use for this?
