aaaaannnnnnd I finished that sketchy-bird-thing I posted a while back: ssbbforeva.deviantart.com/art/…

..........I'm actually decently happy with something I made. the world will probably implode within the hour if I don't find little mistakes... hmm, well, the wing doesn't have enough shading to show depth, the darker metal joints don't look quite right, and it turned out far more "modern" looking than I intended. oh, and I couldn't figure out a background, which is REALLY PISSING ME OFF NOW.

at first I anted to make the feathers a metalic blue, to continue with the cooler color scheme, but after I did the first feather blue, I realized that it just looked so dull. luckily I shaded really lightly so it erased pretty well, and I'm much happier with the dull gold, adding a bit of warmth and contrast to the silver. it also, in my opinion, makes the eye stand bit more.
