Still working on Weiss at the moment. I might draw JNPR- or CFVY, but they probably won't really have the amount of detail I've put here. We'll see in due time.

The class divide within the French school is quite baffling for those who aren't in on the joke about the proud French tradition of perpetually screwing each other (in more ways than one ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ), with only glimpses of them working together to fight an outside enemy before their at each other's throats again.
I would've expected Blake to be in command of an AMX-13, but that might be too advanced and beyond the bounds of Sensha-do permitted tanks.
It's almost uninteresting here with my country's competent handling of the pandemic while trying to stave of the BS from our big bully neighbor. Take care and stay safe!

I've not watched the newest OVA of GuP yet, but from all the screencaps I've seen so far, it's as stereotypically French as we can get:
* Protests against the bourgeoisie classes? Check.
* Riot gear? Check.
* Using hardened baguettes as melee weapons? TRIPLE CHECK.
The AMX-13 is kinda straight out of the ballpark for Sensha-do rules. Designed on paper in 1946, first prototypes came out by 1948, around the same time the French Army were retiring all the service Panthers they stole from no-longer-Nazi Germany. Ironic that the Panther had a longer service period in French hands than their original German designers XD.
You too man, stay safe and keep those hands washed!

To quote my description: "And to answer those waiting to ask: Yes, Blake is human in the (relatively normal) world of GuP and therefore has no Faunus cat ears. The nekomini headphones is an allusion to that."

I guess the in-universe reason for the lack of TDs is the lack of demand for parts; it is easier to make replacement parts for the Sherman which is already full-armoured requiring no approval while the M10 still requires an extra step for roof-kit and further appraisals, which I can imagine slows down the whole process of making the parts in the first place.
I just decided the M10 was one of the more easier tanks that can believably take part in Sensha-do when they do get over that particular hurdle.

I think it'd be more fitting for her to get the M18 Hellcat

I never saw the show. So my guess is that the schools use equipment adopted from the Waring countries in WW2?
P.S. I was thinking she could ride a Hellcat because of the namesake.

Yes, the show had a sort of individual theme along with national sterotypes to each of the rival schools that went against the main characters' school.
BC Freedom in this case was a reference to a unified Free French and Vichy France merger, but the students have a class divide similar to the nobles and pesants back during the Revolution. So they bicker and fight one another constantly.
