You should take the building (which was done very excellently) and put it into a dark picture. Make like vegetation or something hanging off, that would rock so hard.

woah. that's some crazy candy factory! XD my only suggestion would be to take the blue and maybe tweak it to bring out some purple... to compliment the yellow in the background. blue and yellow together side by side can seem overpowering and drain the focus on the factory by your eyes both wanting to go in different directions. XD i also think putting like a simple white border would be a lovely touch~ ^.~ great pic though, very stylized and different!

Man, a VERY VERY creative and well coloured job!
By myself, I would distort less the building (for less blurring) and sharpen more the shapes!
Of course, this is a personal opinion, and I don't know if this was what you intended!

Like someone started to build a grand piano, then changed their mind and built a factory instead. But instead of pollution, it emits gaseous clouds of ambient sound and leaks a gentle vibration into the river, turning all the tadpoles into quarter notes.

The building and far background make this kind of intimidating, but with the plushy cloud of soft colors, it quickly changes everything into an action scene full of color and (this sounds weird) happy.
You did a GREAT job on this piece! Congrats!
