It looks kinda cute... I like the... thingy's expression, giving his heart, all sad... Poor thingy. The heart frame is brilliantly done, and the mettalic shading is awesome too. Only the dlood drips could be thicker and fewer. But overall, it looks great ^^

Another good piece. I like the concept of this one. It's very meaningful. I like how you used the cross section (dang it i forget the artistic term) of shading with the heart.

Wonderful concept. I like how the creature (who i will get back to later) come's out of this unreal heart, or symbol for the heart, and gives away the real heart. If one was giving this away on valentines day, I think it would say "hey, this is for real...". That's how I would interpret it, at least. But then, after I've got back to the little creature, I'll get back to another theory as well The creature is anonymous, which is genius, because then it can be anyone. It is not any specific gender (even though I as a girl think of it as a he), no shape, no nothing. But is the owner of the heart, which is the main point. -So by keeping the creature anonymous you both keep unspecified about who it is, and get the main point through in a straighter way. Kudos to you for leting your imagination create something simple. Then again, this creature has a very interesting couple of eyes... Either a bit worried, like "do I give my heart and mind away blindly?" or a bit sorry, like "I didn't mean to hurt you, but this time it's for real...". So this lack of details to brand the creature's face with one specific emotion is rather purposeful, you can interepret it any way you want. All we get is a hint, something a littlebit uncertain about it. And it is wise, because if everything was absolutely "perfect", it could've got a bit superficial. Other than that, nice shading and positions. I'm not sure how I like the curls, they sort of seem to be there only to look pretty. Perhaps to set out the "fake" in the "faked heart"? I'm not sure. It gives the whole picture a little more of a "sweet valentine" look, which I'm not sure I like. But, oh well. The blood looks a bit strange too, like small threads hanging -somehow- physicly unconnected. The angle on the finger longest to the left in the picture has a too sharp angle. The other fingers as well, but mostly that one. Else, it's a very nice picture. Different

Something about that is so strikingly real...It really tricks the eye into believing what its seeing. The compisition is really cool too. I used to do stuff like this. Great job.

Now that is just plain rackworthy, in plain english it means you did a great job.

Although, it does lack a bit in the depth department (with exception for the heart, err, the un-realisticly drawn heart)

I've seen the idea implemented before in a much more horrible(...i mean bloody..and it's colored>.<way. It's not on dA, though.

This is probably my favorite out of all the thumbs you posted in the forum. The only constructive thing I can think to say is, maybe make the heart that is being held out more detailed than the rest of the drawing, or maybe even do it in color, would make it stand out from the rest of the piece and give. Just a thought.
