Description Uploading some old art from July last year, I regret that I don't have much time to do new works

So here is a rather apathetic Reimu. This was quite fun, I love drawing trees especially.

reading your comment about how it made you think of Misaki Mei made me take another look and I see it too, its the apathetic expression and subdued color-scheme that brings her to mind after the second and third look

Funny thing - I remember seeing this pop up in *arufa's favourites, clicking on it and thinking, 'woah, this seriously deserves a DD'. Now I finally come back to comment on this months later and it rightfully has one! This is magnificent really, from the desaturated, sepia-esque palette, to the ripples of her dress, the style of her face and hair, and more than anything the trees ... I dunno if it was intentional but it feels very Australian - I'm sure I've seen gum forests reminiscent of this scene. Anyway, well done on this, and hoping to see more great stuff from you in this vein!

I totally agree about the trees, I doubt they really look like cherry blossoms, since I'm also from Australia, I think I ended up doing them similar to gum trees XD
