Hah! Was this STS-133? I went to that, too! Except I also went again in February when it actually did launch.
Lemme tell you - it was AMAZING!
Heh... I could go on about it. But since the shuttles are retired now, I guess it'd be kinda mean
yes, you shuttles, too!? (I mean, look at what my Avatar is!)
I'm literally learning to FLY them with Space Shuttle Mission Simulator 2007 (About 90% of the ~2,080 or so switches work in that sim )
I think I know a lot about them, too
When the astronauts talk back and forth with mission control I actually understand about 90% of what they say
Or, more like, I 100% understand 90% of the things they say, and I only 50% understand 10% of the things they say

Ah! I remember a long time ago you said you liked space shuttles very much : ) I find that an interesting anecdote about your past. Glad to see you dig into that old love. Happy birthday, SnowWolfMystic!

@.@ Ho - ly - cow! *scrambles to retrieve jaw and eyes from floor* Your attention to detail is amazing! And I only heard about said launching via Hispanic news on TV at work. XD This eases the disappointment. ^.~

LOL. XD That'd be interesting if I started to photoshop all my subjects in... >_> It's more of a challenge to draw, though. ;D

Wow! When it showed up in my inbox, I thought it was a photo then I wondered, "Wait, how'd they get a photo like this?" and then I looked at the category and realized it wasn't a photo. On the contraty, I think the detail is amazing! And the fire loks 100% realistic. :]
