Long story shorter: I've spent the last 3 months with very limited access to the internet so I ended up reading a ton of books ( about 20 to be precise) including the Chronicles of Ancient darkness... I was feeling nostalgic since I bought them when they first came out. So, anyway, whilst reading Ghost Hunter I decided to draw this and the other image of Torak. If you know the books well you'll notice the Outcast tatoo is the image on his headband. You may also notice that here he does look a little older than he should... couldn't really help that. I also tried to give him a serious and stern demeanor, as he is said to gain as the series progresses, but I still think he looks a little pissed off here. On a final note I got the shadows hopelessly wrong.Related content

I think it's really good! Better than I could draw, in any case. His nose is a bit big, but apart from that, I really like it. There's a nice unfinished look to it that I like - it gives more insight into the art process itself, instead of just showing a polished final image.

To be honest part of the reason I gave up on it halfway through was because the face looked a bit wrong. That's why I did another version which I actually prefer despite not really showing the face that much, but thanks for the compliment!
