YES I KNOW EVERYONE CALLS HER WOAH NELLY. I don't care. Any comments that are solely 'but she's called 'Woah Nelly' will be hidden.And no, I also don't particularly give a hoot if you call her Diabetty or Tumblerina Hamplanet or any other name. I'm not calling her that, so I'd appreciate if you didn't.
The bolded text was meant more to cut off mean spirited names based on her size and not any offense, I'm sorry for how I phrased this early on when I drew this. I'm not exactly a skinny person, so I felt protective of her.
Originally, Rarity was a part of this drawing, but it didn't look properly good, so I kept it to Silver Lining. This was/is a story-ish pic about Silver Lining traveling to Ponyville and crossing paths with Rarity again. And Rarity offers to make her a new dress, a special Princess Dress that fits her perfectly, physically and personally. And even though Silver's large size means she required extra fabric, she refused to make Silver pay more for the dress. The look on her face made up for the fabric, and she would never deny the chance to make somepony else happy just by making a dress. It was much more beautiful on Silver Lining than anypony else who wore it in Rarity's opinion.
"Do I need to pay you any more for the dress?"
"Of course not, darling. Everypony buys the dress for the same price. It doesn't matter that you have a unique physique, I refuse to let that change my pricing."
"You really don't mind? I've got the bits."
"I insist."
I love Silver Lining. I know everyone likes Whoa Nelly, but I prefer Silver Lining, considering my headcanon for her special talent; Motivational speaking and making others love themselves like she loves herself, even if she's a bit odd. Plus, Whoa Nelly is just... Kinda bad. Not towards the people who use it, but I'm... just not a fan of names like that.

I imagine she's good at her job, somehow. It just feels like it.... It's a desk job, she designs weather patterns. Like, "This is what the clouds should look like today, everypony! We're making clouds this color! The clouds have to be fluffy! Not solid, no fog, just light little fluffy fluff stuff! Everybody's doing great! Just wanted to tell you you're doing a really good job out here today!"... Just because she works at a factory doesn't mean she's not going to stop doing her special talent whenever she can. I love the idea of her being all about learning to love herself. You can be obese, shaped differently, have weird eyes, anything, and you can still be a happy person. Don't let what others think of you affect how you see yourself. You don't have to change yourself, but that doesn't mean you can't. I imagine she's naturally large and boxy shaped, so even if she was slim, she'd look out of place. But she doesn't care. Does she look like she cares? Hell no! She knows she's happy, and that's what matters.
It's also.. funny way to introduce a very odd shipping, Filthy Rich/Silver Lining. But that's a story for a different time
