Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly... twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the... standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for... an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. But, since this is a canon character, and I did it today, that doesn't quite apply. So instead of 'what I did different' with their children, I'll explain my design choices for each of them!
I went for a bit of a short, punk but still pop look for her mane and tail, since that's what her music is. I didn't feel full Raripunk suited her, but it inspired her design a bit. Not much more to say.
Wife of Button Mash and mother of Bellicoso Bash , Sweetie Belle is a famous pop-punk singer known for her belting voice skills, but her career isn't entirely the focus of her life, nor her description.
Everything was still just recovering from the crazy mess of the Crystal Empire, when the Cutie Mark Crusaders decided they needed to help ponies even harder, and while Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo looked for options inside their club, their club was shaken up when Applebloom decided, without their permission, to invite a new member... someone unlike anyone else they'd invited before... a boy. It was new, and it was weird; Scootaloo was the most vocal about how it wasn't a boys thing, but Sweetie Belle didn't mind that he was a boy. It was just that Applebloom had gone behind their backs.
In fact, Sweetie Belle didn't mind the boy part, so much so that she had an idea of her own. If Applebloom got to bring in some random boy they'd never met, she'd do the same. And she looked around the general Ponyville area, looking for boys her age that she knew well enough to ask to join, anypony without a cutie mark... or with one, it didn't matter, she just had to choose one. And running out of options (Scootaloo had dragged Rumble into this somehow, despite his vehement protests), she ran into Button Mash, much like when she did that Hearts & Hooves Day... And, well, he was the cutest colt; there was a reason she'd pointed his flaws out as too young for Miss Cheerilee (though Cheerilee would find a rather young suitor in Feather Bangs...), he was a perfectly fine looking boy... And, well, that was about it.
She didn't know much about him, he liked games, obviously... But then again, she wasn't looking for a husband or anything, just a cute boy to counterpoint Applebloom's new cute boy (who she had to admit Applebloom had snatched a good one)... It wasn't important. And while Applebloom had to admit maybe she had been a little hasty in inviting Tender Taps in, but at least he wanted to help. Rumble seemed almost counterproductive, not helping but Scootaloo insisted she got to decide who she brought in. Despite this, the CMC continued their work until they were teenagers, at which point they had enough on their plate with their own lives to continue, though they had helped enough ponies that they hoped they'd left a good enough legacy.
The Cutie Mark Crusaders remained friends through the higher levels of education they decided to take, (high school being optional in the universe of MLP since most ponies find their talents or are helped by their families for the rest of their education), and Sweetie Belle and Button Mash continued hanging.... around each other. Hanging out wasn't the proper word when it wasn't a sharing of interests, just... walking together and sitting together everywhere, saying nothing of interest to either of them, just idle small talk... All of it; just small talk, nothing substantial, but... Well, he was cute, she was available.. it seemed to just be... what you do?
She didn't particularly regret it, nor did she feel like it was the best choice, but as she pursued her career, Button Mash got attached to her. Well, not like that was wrong, right?... They were dating. So it was strange that the two even considered it strange that they would be supportive of one another. After all, Button Mash didn't have a job for Sweetie Belle to be supportive of, so... it's not like they wouldn't do the same for one another, right?... It's just that Button Mash was the only one who was supportive, only because Sweetie Belle was the working one.
Sweetie got picked up for concerts and for singles on the radio, she became famous, and Button Mash supported her the whole way. She appreciated it, she supposed. It wasn't exactly like she needed to hear his voice, but it was.. ok. It was support. And it was a cute guy who she was committed to. After all, it's not like she knew any other colts that she had such a deep connection with. So marrying just came as the obvious next step, as did having Bellicoso Bash.
Her sister's scandalous relationship with Spike passed her by without comment or incident; sure, she supported her sister, but it wasn't her job to obsess over other ponies relationships. But when Miracle was born, it became one, as Belli' was born within the same year, there were two mewling babies in the family, one tinier than Sweetie Belle thought possible, and Belli' just a bit bigger than most babies... it was interesting, knowing that her daughter would grow up with a little cousin.. of course, assuming Miracle made it through childhood, and she has so far. It seems like smooth sailing, but it's not as if one can predict everything.
Sweetie Belle was hoping for a singer of a daughter, but never got one, with her daughter so far turning out to be a bit of a roughhousing bully, but she loves and supports Belli' in any way she can. She's her precious little pumpkin, even if her voice is terrible, Belli' loves to sing for Miracle, and Sweetie is glad her daughter has a good friend, as well as Button Mash, who has decided to be a stay at home dad, making it easier for Sweetie Belle to pursue her career, though she always puts her family in her mind, making time every day for her daughter unless there's something huge in her life, which has only happened once or twice. And after all, that's what she has Button Mash for... That and, she supposes... whatever husbands do. She knows what they do, but no relationship is the same, so whatever Button does, it's just their marriage.
