A gift from the insanely amazing , who keeps giving me amazing awesome things and I don't even know how to reward y'all, dude, Lionheart is welcomed into the Miracleverse!~
Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly... twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the... standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for... an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. This dude is from a friend and all. The reason this jerk doesn't have as complex a bio as most, like Black Forest Roseblood , the reason is that he's going to be one of the tertiary characters, or in other words, he's not as important to the plot, but rather a side character in the Ponyville children's story; mainly Bellicoso Bash's story.
I'll let KT (ok look I'm bad with nicknames new gift for y'all is me figuring out how to abbreviate my friends names) explain what she did for his design because it's basically awesome and I love it please pay attention to this awesome person and check out their work!
"I took a page out of her book in terms of design and tried to think outside the box. His coat color comes from the metal base on doctor whooves' cutie mark. The outline of his mane is . . . Its hard for me to put this into words. I started at where Minuet's blue mane is on the color display, then shifted the tone to doctors coat color. I hope that makes sense. The fill is just a lighter version of that. To make it easier, he's a unicorn like his mom and has her eyes, but his mane and tail style more resemble his father. And he has bad teeth. Its not showing here, but he has crooked teeth. He has a crippling fear of dentists, although he would never admit it. He always has new injuries due to his hobbies. He's of average build."
Most of what I'm gonna write about this guy is basically all extrapolation from what KT wrote, so basically this is just me redrawing something (dude KT y'all are great) and vaguely expanding on already done stuff. Yay!
Lionheart is, to put it shortly, a little brat/jerkwad. And not like Bellicoso is a jerk, she's just a bit of a performative bully (See: Buford from Phineas & Ferb), but a full blown atomic jerk. Just plain old a bully. He takes kids lunch money, plays keepaway with the littler kid's stuff, generally just being an asshole to everyone. Bellicoso sometimes hangs out with him and plays with him, but she doesn't like stealing lunch money; or at least, not before 'begrudgingly' giving it back at the slightest notice, she does love keepaway... as long as it's like, a stupid thing. She's a bully too, but she doesn't want to take away a kid's plushie. Lionheart does.
Because of this, it's likely you'll see Lionheart playing with Bellicoso one moment and them ruthlessly beating the everloving shit out of each other, often at a moment's notice. They just hate each other one second, tolerate each other on the other, but generally... if chips were down, Belli' would dump his ass in a heartbeat; she likes being mean just a bit, but there's a difference between being mean for fun and being an actual jerk that doesn't apologize and fights with other foals who don't like fighting.
While Lionheart doesn't have any other 'friends' than Belli', he does love animals a lot... of course, he has an affinity for the more dangerous ones, because he's 'cool' like that. Cool animals are the ones he likes. Sure, he has a cat named Megadeth and a pet snake named Spawn (which only proves his bad taste in music and good taste in comics), but what's REALLY cool is manticores. He has to be restrained from entering the Everfree Forest now that he's heard that there's dangerous critters and actual manticores? He's gotta go! Fluttershy is lucky she lives so close to the only really viable entrance to the Everfree, so she can stop him from getting his dumb head killed.
Even with his genius father and mother (along with such a sweetheart of a mom), he's not too bright, though that's mainly due to his unwillingness to listen in school, not as if intelligence is hereditary, though you would hope that he'd pick some stuff up from his dork of a dad, he just hasn't. He hates the dentist (Ironically, considering his mother moonlights as one when not a Knight of Time (BEWARE OLD ART).) and has terrible teeth, but if you mention it, he'll beat you up because excuse you who gave you the right, huh? His big brother (technically his dad???? Time travel is WEIRD and bad) DJ Whooves is... not very happy with his little bro's behavior, but he's pretty busy with his own stuff... so... yeah.
Despite DJ knowing about Lion's bad behavior, Doctor Whooves and Minuette think he's their darling little Golden Boy. Which is a nickname he flaunts when he's around his doting parents.
Minuette and Doctor Whooves got together on a mission unapproved by their leader, King Tempus (Luna and Celestia's father and the leader/director of the Knights of Time) that Luna personally requested, a mission to save Princess Cadance and Shining Armor from their fate, but... sometimes certain things... can't be changed. But they kept trying. A groundhogs day loop of sorts, where the two became closer and closer each failed attempt, until Doctor Whooves had to return to his wife and inform him that... unfortunately, they... couldn't be together anymore. Ditzy understood, but hated to see him go, taking DJ Whooves with him, since Doctor Whooves figured it would be better if he raised the kid (himself??? TIME TRAVEL, MAN), since he.. well, had experience with what DJ was going through. (SEE PREVIOUS THING ABOUT TIME TRAVEL)
