Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly... twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the... standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for... an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. But, since this is a canon character, and I did it today and yesterday, that doesn't quite apply. So instead of 'what I did different' with their children, I'll explain my design choices for each of them!
There's gonna be a huge dump of these, as I recently realized while I was thinking of what scenarios to do, that I didn't have enough designs for the older ponies, and that means I'll be working on a lot of them, so there may be a gap between the story pieces and the next one, as I fill out the cast of the show. This may mean more simple descriptions, though for some ponies, it's just because a lot will be revealed later rather then just now, and the history isn't as important. So forgive me for the shorter descriptions.
Daring Do is still up and running even if she's lost a leg, still an adventurer and writer as long as she's needed. She's married to Quibble Pants, long time fan and Daring is the loving, if absent mother of Darling Do .
Losing a leg in a fight with one of the many monster creatures she fights, claiming as A.K Yearling she received an infection from a spider bite that was unnoticed and untreated during a particularly grueling con crawl, since she wore her cloak for the whole time and disguising the wound, she claimed that it forced an amputation. As Daring Do is seen as an Author Avatar to the world, it made sense that she soon wrote a more adventurous monstrous Acromantula bite (receiving complaints from Everfree Acromantula's population, but you know, PR handled that... plus they're not exactly not evil.).
She recruited Quibble Pants as her assistant, creating the alter ego Quick Pick for him, leading to a cited drop in quality for most readers, puzzles too easily solved. But since it was all real, Quibble's help was protecting artifacts from the clutches of evil.
Eventually, his annnoyances that bothered Daring for so long became quirks she cared about, and.. um, frickle frackle occurred, Darling being born afterwards. Of course she took a break from adventuring to raise her daughter for the first two years, publishing old stories she hadn't ever told before, but eventually went back to work, leading to the era of books after Darling, and ending the 'Quick Pick Era' cited by fans as removing tension from her stories, regaining fans.
Quibble Pants raised their daughter for the most part, but Daring continues to visit constantly, lavishing affection on her daughter when she gets the chance. Originally, Daring intended for Darling to join her some day as a successor, but Darling had other plans herself, not being particularly interested in any sort of artifact saving antics or even solving puzzles. Also, her physique. That was obviously more of a hurdle. Daring did try to get her daughter to be more healthy, but she remained large, though Daring has made sure her daughter is fit and healthy even if she's large.
Daring continues to work, and is currently searching for artifacts to warm Equestria, under sanction from Celestia herself.
