Design
Differences in Personality, Differences in the episode :
He is more practical in his advice, making less cryptic warnings.
He practices Kendo with the bamboo stick instead of balancing on it.
Zicoro is more feared by the public and the ponies are more openly racist and less fearful of his mystic powers. Like, "Burn the witch!" and not "The wicked echantress will curse us all!"
His relationship with Applebuck is more fatherly than Zecora's, and he is more suspicious of his motives in Cutie Pox.
Instead of training Dusk in his brand of magic, he teaches him how to fight Trixter in Magic Duel.
