I love this! It's got a kind of early 60s mid-century modernism mood. And I wanna know how you did all those angular shapes! Is it Photoshop? Or what kind of software gadget....eager artist wants to know!

Thanks! I was shooting for "1970's sci-fi book cover" - but 60's mid century modernism might cover it just as well
The angular shapes are made in several ways; either by using the straight lasso tool, or by erasing a paint stroke on the desired angle. I paint on multiple layers, so I can erase unwanted parts of the image. I hope that answers your question - if not, please let me know

Thanks! Lately, I've been starting with abstract compositions, and then trying to "find" a scene as I go. It's very different than the constructionist approach - and kind of fun, you never know where it will take you

It can be enjoyable, although occasionally it can be somewhat frustrating. I start a lot of images, then abandon them if they aren't working. All these are in a big folder, and I look through it and sometimes decide to finish one off because I see something in it. A number of the images posted here were created in this way

It's all relatively new (within the last year or so). I started by migrating things from my blog - but now I post the images as I complete them. The stuff on here is mostly personal work, not related to a job
