I just love Ally's facial expressions at the end!Β This woman is more animated than Cartoon Network in the right circumstances!Β ...I'm not sure if that says more about Ally and Shiniez artistic skills or about how far the standards may have slipped at Cartoon Network.

That said, as a freelancer I've occasionally had cases like this. Even one where a client paid more than the original quote simply because they loved the result so much.
This wasn't anything amazing, on a professional level it's pretty much pocket change, but damn it felt easily as good as displayed in those 3 panels

Ok. I get the gay issue doesn't bother lisa(kind of) but I'm confused as to why you brought it up as an issue only to have it not be? It feels as though you were going to use it as an issue but later decided not to for reasons?
But my main concern is the conversation between Val and Lisa. It doesn't move the story forward in any way, Except possibly as a wrap up to Val which I felt already happened when Lisa apologized to her awhile back. It would actully make more sense (imo) if Lisa was having it with Anne. It ties in with why she is so important to lisa/ally getting together and it would make this conversation important not just here but to what happens later in the last three strips-from what you have hinted at and my assumptions- anne gets fed up with ally and gets mad at her. This could be where that fuels comes from, well at least some of it. Again just my two cents

That's my point. With anne being so important to their relations as Lisa says, this would've been the perfect example to show why. But instead it's with Val an none important character, hell she's the female equivalent to the prince inΒ maleficent and Kristoff from frozen(they didn't need to be there) it was a mistake shiniez made. But man did I get that last bit so wrong. I heard shiniez say she would get mad at ally but I assumed it was going to happen near the end. So wrong lol.

God... I die a little bit every time I get to the end of one of these. I know they take a while to make, (and they deserve that amount of time with how amazing the story is) but the wait is killing me! I teared up 3 times reading this chapter so far...Β

My partner and I have been following this story since we discovered loose pictures of what are now Lisbeth and Allison and fell in love with the artstyle.Β And watching this story take shape and seeing how those older pieces have been slowly integrating into the narrative has been the most wonderful journey.Β As always, I look forward to seeing where this goes, and every new update brings a big smile to my face.Β

Just wondering, do you ever get contacted about some of the clothing you design/draw in Sunstone? Because some of the pieces are stunning. The corset/jacket/suit Alan is tightening onto Anne is lovely! The red leather suspension suit at the beginning of volume 2 in the club has to be my all-time favorite. I, for one, would seriously consider buying them were they made available.
In any case, thanks so much for writing and drawing such brilliant reading material. I'm eagerly waiting for Sunstone volume 3 and up to be published in my S/O's "native tongue" so we can continue sharing Sunstone and growing our secret stash of smut!
