Description Commission 3/3 for Soul-Cats of her shedu Nephthys 474 !

When the storm that had been pouring rain for about 20 minutes seemed to let up a bit, Zina decided it was time to end she and Nephthys little fairytale under the forest trees and head back to the stables. Zina urged Nephthys into a lope out into the open field, but Nephthys suddenly made up her mind about wasting time wading through the mud and rain, and instead broke into a full on sprint. Zina pulled back on the reins in the hopes of slowing her down, but Nephthys wanted nothing to do with it.
Back at the stable, Corin came out to the arena fence to wait for Zina after he got a text from her saying she was on her way back. Corin leaned against the fence and searched the landscape for the pair. Suddenly he saw a black figure appear on the horizon.
That must be them. Corin thought. He watched the pair approach, but realized they seemed to be moving very quickly. After a minute it was clear that they were hauling across the green belt, and that they'd make it back in nearly half the time. Why are they running like it's the Junior Test Race? Corin wondered sarcastically. When they were within a decent distance from the fence, Corin shouted jokingly "Yo, the zombie apocalypse hasn't arrived yet, you can slow down!"
Corin heard Zina shouting something, but he couldn't quite make it out over the wind.
"What was that?" Corin shouted back. Again Zina's response came back muffled.
"Can't hear you!" Corin shouted again as they kept drawing closer.
"FOR THE LOVE OF GOD CORIN GET OUT OF THE WAY! RUNNAWAY CAT!" Zina exclaimed.
Corin suddenly realized that Nephthys wasn't gonna stop for anything. Corin had only just enough time to move sideways along the fence as Nephthys closed in with incredible speed. But rather than turning or hitting the breaks, Nephthys decided to take to the skies. In one powerful push from her hindquarters, Nephthys lept over the fence with easily two and half feet to spare, with poor Zina gripping onto the last inch of rein for dear life. Nephthys managed to land on the other side, rather not so gracefully, and then slid to a stop through the mud in front of the Shedu barn. Zina had managed to hold on until the last second when she fell off and plopped in the mud. Nephthys shook her coat and wandered a few feet away while Corin ran to Zina's aid.
"Zina, are you alright?!" Corin exclaimed. When Corin reached Zina, he found her lying on her back, laughing hysterically.
"Oh for goodness sake, Zina." Corin said with a relieved laugh.
"Did you see how much air we got?!" Zina said between fits of giggles. "They should nickname that cat Air Jordan." They both laughed together for a minute before Corin helped Zina out of the mud. That was definitely enough adventure for one day.

Good grief, is it just me, or the more I do these Shedu images, the more ridiculous they get? Because I'm pretty sure they're getting more ridiculous. haha

I love this picture! I find jumping shedus hard to do, but this one is absolutely beautiful! The poor handler looks shocked, though (then again, everybody would be if there suddenly was a giant cat flying towards them). And Nephthys seems to have fun.

Yeah poor guy, no one wants to get in the way of giant flying kitties. haha
And Nephthys was just so excited to get out of the rain, she couldn't help herself. xD

This is fabulous. I love the composition, and the handler on the ground looks so surprised! Nephthys looks so extremely pleased with herself, haha.
