I think maybe it could. I mean Spider-Boy had an extremely small cameo in Spider-Verse, so that sorta counts. Plus I feel like this design and your design could also be interpreted as Spidey redesigns.

Sort of a "blink and you'll miss it" type of thing. He's on a comic panel with a bunch of other spider-people in the original spiderverse event.
