Well, it's a pelican. They're curious-looking things, aren't they?Taken at sunset on Newcastle Beach in Australia - freehand with a zoom lens, so I'm pretty happy with the lack of blur...

Indeed he does. Weird, isn't it? I'm not sure if the yellow part is just an eye-covering or if it's like the whites of our eyes. I couldn't quite get close enough to find out
