I disagree that it needs symetry. The symetry is that it is moving... The bird is headed to the other side of the picture. If it were in the center, there would be no anticipation of movement... there would only be the bird supended in the middle. I do not need the sky with such glorious water. The fact that birds fly indicates that there is air to move the bird, and the water is life... Always there, and with the potential to be so much more than the beautiful serenity is sometimes appears to be...
This is fabulous. the boat, this one and the other that I will be getting to shortly make a fantastic trio, and I feel you should market them as a trio. They would go great together on anyone's wall surrounded by an onyx frame.

thank you for your amazing comments, and its nice to see a positive comment about my work, I get alot of critiques on my work, but the people that are doing the critiques are not that good at photography, I suspect a little jealousy or something like that..

You are very welcome. It is not easy to hear only critique and little praise. I think you live in a place with fantastic potential for limitless photos, and that your timing is such that you are there for a lot of them. Do what you like because in the end, it is what pleases you about your work that matters the most. When you have done something that grabs you by your intrails and squeezes, then you know that you have done something profound...

love this shot! gorgeous colors and i like how the gull is on the left side with its reflection below it, leaving the whole right side of the pic to just the wonderful colors of the water with the sun glinting off it. its great

principally nice, but it would have been a better composed shot if you could have achieved a symmetry, maybe the bird and it's full reflection with space above and below.

yeah I had to crop it like this because of the sun rays on the water where whited out.. Ill def try a simple manip to change that and try as you suggested... thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it

lol you have to throw a rock at them... or some food. then rush at then with your camera set on shutter speed of 4000
