Early in the morning, mist everywhere.slightly underexposed on the heron, but it is under artistic so its ok

the fact that the heron is a sillouette makes the shot, the horizon is dead straight, this is really a fantastic piece of work, and the square format suite it!!! well done!

Love it! Now, I don't know if you ever manip. your shots. But this one is just begging for it. Clone stamp out that the island on the right hand side, and I'd say you have your self a masterpiece. One of your best shots in recent memory none the less. Great job!

where is this? its so scerene n beautiful and it looks so peaceful. the water is so FLAT! looks awsome with the heron underexposed like that. gives it and the rock a beautiful silhouetted look that makes this all work. contrasts to the soft grey of the water and the sky. i think id like THIS exact pic the best, even if you had a more exposed heron. i think its just stunning this way.

This is a gem Aran! Great one! The subtle ripples in the water, only a sliver of land nearby, and a lone Heron. How long was he there?? Beautiful shot!
