Description
This was painted for satoita 's Christmas present ^^ It's her dog Nanuk, a Norwegian Elkhound. It's actually quite a tiny painting, being on an ATC/ACEO, but it was the perfect size for the original pencils. I actually painted him from life, not a photo! This was the last present I had left to complete, and since I was at my dad's for Christmas, I was able to have Nanu lay in front of me as a reference on Christmas Eve ^_^
Sakura Koi watercolor and graphite on 2.5x3.5" Strathmore cold press watercolor paper.

I'm glad he looks true to his breed! They're so similar in coaat-type and their curly tails that I kept having a hard time making him not look like a Shiba Inu XD
