Thank you so much. I have Painter 10 and I haven't mess with all the brushes and nozzles yet.Same here, there's so much things to play with that I haven't got the time to try them all.

I'm just concerned I might inadvertently hit some sort of "panic button" somewhere and there goes my art. 
I've had Painter 2 and 3. X rocks.

You know the help file provided with Painter was actually very helpful to me. Apart from that I seldom use any tutorial online but would mess with the brushes a lot and try different things. And when I create detailed drawings, I'd use the magnifier tool a lot. It is really indispensable.

I've used the "Help" windows in PhotoShop, but never thought about Painter. I'll have to try that. Got nothing to lose. Thanks for the tip.
