soooBack in 2009 (when I was 11) I drew that little green thing. It sucks but I forgive myself because I was 11.
Then, 2 years later (when I was 13), I re-drew it. ARGH WHAT IS THAT IT LOOKS LIKE A DINOSAUR JUST LOOKING AT THAT DEFORMITY DRAINS ME OF ANY ARTISTIC INSPIRATION
SO I DECIDED TO RE-DRAW IT AGAIN EVEN THOUGH IT'S ONLY BEEN A FEW MONTHS
AND THERE IS MY PRODUCT
I got really lazy and decided not to finish it after all LOL D:>

I think your coloring improved. I specifically loved the hair on your newest piece. And the eyes.
You probably need to work on the lines next since they look a bit shaky.

Ahh, thank you; I'm glad you see it that way! =D That's what I was trying to do--to actually create some sort of a personality. The people I draw still look pretty toolish, but hopefully I'll learn to make them look less like expressionless objects and more like people with personality and individuality. (That will take a while though. D8)

Art takes time to grow into, you have to "feel" what's right and don't worry about what people say but keep their criticism in check for ideas.
Having a facial sketchbook helps. Find any face that interests you drawn in your sketchbook and continue drawing those faces to help loosen your work. That's what helped me.

Oooh very nice. Great improvement, especially with the placing of the neck. The only thing I have to critique about the newest drawing is the ear seems to be a bit too small, but other then that, fabulous!
