You did such a good job on this. It looks so intricate. Calling it Sid reminded me of Sid the spider, remember my poem. A couple of weeks ago I was watching Sid, who did not move much from his position around the vent in the utility room, when suddenly he dropped like a stone (I hate it when spiders do that) anyhow have not seen him since. He must have been there for nearly a year I reckon and I should think he came to the end of his lifespan. Cant say that I have any fond thoughts in remembrance.

Thanks Shelley. yes I have had the pattern to make him for quite some time and always thought " Oh that looks too complicated" but then I thought IΒ΄d have a go and it turned out easier than I imagined. Yes it involved breaking off and joining all the different colours and loads of loose ends to sew in later but my patience paid off. I am really pleased with how he turned out.
I remember Sid, poor little guy. I too used to have a long legged, sponge bodied biggish spider living way up on the ceiling of my stair-well. I just did nΒ΄t have a tube long enough on my hoover to get him, he lived there quietly also I think for years

that reminds me of the PokΓ©mon Milotic's tail, only this is slightly more colourful
