well, I'm not entirely pleased with it but I still like the concept.it's kind of a personal diary.
over about two weeks I added an item each day, somewhat related to what had actually happened or what I had thought about.

The details, the spiralling effect make it seem like the world's influences pursue her even as she retreats. I feel like warning her not to look back.

Well, guess you could never really retreat from the world's influences, no matter how much you would like to sometimes. But I think that's not always a bad thing.

considering my passionate love for spirals and the fact that rulers don't really agree with me, I think it's quite natural to look ... natural.
I'd really like to know what kind of thoughts are 'provoked' by looking at this. because of the concept it's quite impossible for people to guess the actual stories I had in mind while drawing so they have to make up their own

Well, I dread it'll be nothing close to what you intended, but here is my guess:
We have a desperate character in the center who seems overwhelmed with the circumstances including these two characters on top, people perhaps her social life) and is haunted by abstract fears or traumatic experiences (represented by the spiral like stairway).
Yeah, that's my assumption.

Interessant finde ich ja, dass man dem talibanesken Herrn oben links zumindest meiner Interpretation nach eine Krawatte (imho eine der...eindeutigsten Symbole für den Westen mit seinen Werten und seiner Bürokratie) angenagelt hat...

als präsentierteller kann man's auch sehen, persönlich war's bei mir damals (das bild ist irgendwann ende mai entstanden) aber eher so, dass tausend dinge auf einmal auf mich losbrachen, zu denen ich ersteinmal abstand gewinnen musste, um nicht von übermannt zu werden ...
