Description I just felt like drawing one of my Pisces dragons today. C:
I also added one of my Mers to show a bit of size comparison (Mers are as big as humans, with an added foot or two for the tail length.)

Pisces (piss-kess) dragons are the only aquatic dragons within my story. They generally spend all of their time in the water, but are capable of breathing air through their specialized lungs if need be. However, they must keep their skin moist so they cannot spend a long time on land.

A Pisces' has several main methods of defense. Their first, and most noticeable one, is that they can shoot a very strong jet of water from a specialized sack of water that collects near their gills. This water comes out at such a speed that it can cut flesh.
Their two other methods of defense are much more noticeable-- their strong jaws, and their long tail. Their jaws are as strong as their will; they will clamp onto their prey (they eat fish of all sizes generally, but will attack larger aquatic prey-- or a human if one falls into the water) and refuse to let go. Their tail, on the other hand, is a perfect smashing weapon. They have been known to not only ram human ships with their snouts, but to also use their long tails to capsize ships.

I think this dragon will be Marco and the Mer will be Liam. C:

Actually, no, not even close.

Whales are mammalian and can ONLY breath air.
Snakehead fish, Rope fish, Pisces, etc-- water AND air.
