Description I recently got into Firefly, and Mal Reynolds is my favourite character (surprise!) so he's the first one I tried to draw. I don't think I did very well with the first few, but I'm learning. This is from my sketchbook, but I kind of like how it turned out as a complete page of Mal sketches, put in some quotes, and here we are.

Media:Mechanical pencil on cartridge paper.
Time: Three or four hours, over a few days.
Dimensions: A4.

Oh, I love Firefly, I totally do. It's just the best show I've seen so far. I love each and every one of the characters, they are all great in their own way. But of course Mal ist the best. I just love his cynical comments, and the quotes you picked are great, and just so him. *points at her signature and grins*

Fangirl squee over Firefly aside, I love your study of Mal. I think you captured him really well, especially the two in the middle. Do more Firefly, yes? *puppy dog eyes*
