Description Apologies, prints are no longer available due to an ongoing dispute.

Inspired by Japanese Ukiyo-e arists such as Utagawa Kuniyoshi this image depicts the Batman imagined in a different time and place. A shadow in the night but also wealthy and well-equipped. His refusal to use swords can be traced to the death of his parents at the hands of a group of Ronin.

First in a series.

right on, great crossover. Batman in the Sengoku period is too epic to say otherwise. xDD

Just to let you know. Your link to society6 is messed up on this page. It seems to have absorbed your parenthesis.

Such a cool idea!  I'm a huge fan of both Batman and Japanese woodblock prints.  The use of a headband for the 'bat ears' is genius.  I'm definitely have to keep an eye on your gallery here for more of these (and the rest of your amazingly fun work!)

I actually just added that!  You can get a print through DA or through Society6 now (society6.com/swadeart/) . The price is about the same but if you go through Society6 they take a smaller chunk of the price for themselves and there are also more sizes to choose from.

Thanks for the interest!

I love how you made it look like an ukiyo-e (sp?) print! I would totally put this up beside some of the Hiroshige prints I have!

This made my day, thanks for sharing!
